The 26-year-old Czechia goalie posted his first career shutout, while Antoine Roussel scored the game’s lone goal at the other end. So far, the Jets have received 92 per cent of the betting action.

Veteran Paul Stastny scored his eighth of the season and now has goals in back-to-back games. The 36-year-old is on pace for his best season in a decade.

The Jets are only three points out of the final wildcard spot in the Western Conference with a few games in hand.

Arizona Coyotes

Arizona will play for the first time since last Tuesday when they lost an 8-7 roller coaster outing to the San Jose Sharks. Lawson Crouse scored two and added a pair of helpers for the first four-point night of his career. Phil Kessel also had four assists and rookie defenceman Janis Moser scored the first and second goals of his career.

Kessel is heating up with six points over the past two games, helping his stock ahead of the NHL trade deadline. Rumours are likely to pick up around the NHL’s current Ironman as he is in the last year of his contract.

The Coyotes have had a lot of their recent games postponed due to the NHL’s Covid protocol, but they could pull out of last place in the league if they win these few games in hand.
