For the first time in his career, Johnny Gaudreau notched his 100th point of the season in Tuesday’s win over Seattle. Meanwhile, Vegas lost to Vancouver in overtime Tuesday, leaving them just three points out of the playoff picture.

Golden Knights vs. Flames NHL Betting Odds

This three-game Pacific Division season series is up for the taking tonight with each team picking up a win so far. The Knights took the first game, 3-2 powered by Nicholas Roy’s two-point performance on Dec. 5th. Calgary bounced back on Feb. 9th pounding Vegas 6-0 on home ice. Jacob Markstrom had a 28 save shutout and Mikael Backlund picked up four points in the win.

They have had a total of 6 in every matchup thus far, playing the Under both times. Bettors are hoping to flip the script tonight, with a whopping 91 percent taking the Over.

With a 41-30 O/U record, the Golden Knights lead the Pacific in Overs and they have stayed on-trend lately, playing the Over in all of their past three games. Vegas has only covered the spread once in their past four games.

During their five-game win streak, the Flames have only played the Over once, holding opponents to an average of two goals per game. They are 40-33 ATS on the season and have covered four straight.

Vegas Golden Knights

Defenceman Shea Theodore scored two goals in the third period to tie the game 4-4, Tuesday night in Vancouver. Vegas would eventually fall 5-4 in overtime, losing to the Canucks for the second time in a week.

Jack Eichel assisted on the tying goal extending his point streak to five games. Through 26 games with the Golden Knights, Jack has picked up 20 points (11G, 9A).

Vegas’ Captain Mark Stone returned to action for the first time since February 8th. He played 17 minutes, took three shots on goal and had two takeaways.

With eight games to go there is still some playoff hope for the Golden Knights, they are three points back of Dallas for the third and final wild card in the west.

Calgary Flames

Matthew Tkachuk scored his second career hattrick Tuesday, powering the Flames to a 5-3 win over the Seattle Kraken and extending their win streak to five games. The Flames scored four straight in the third period to erase a 3-1 deficit.

Johnny Gaudreau’s assist in the third was his 100th point of the season, passing his previous career-high of 99 back in 2018-19. Johnny Hockey would add another to put him at 101 points (34G 67A) through 73 games, a dark horse pick for the Hart trophy, he currently has fourth-best odds at +1476.

Oliver Kylington and Erik Gudbranson are both listed as day-to-day coming into tonight’s matchup. The rugged defencemen will likely need some extra rest with only nine games left before playoffs.
