The Jets snapped a worrisome six-game slide with Monday’s 4-3 win over Los Angeles but maintain a comfortable six-point lead over Nashville in the race for third place in the Central Division standings. The Flames are coming off a 5-3 loss to Anaheim on Tuesday night, marking their ninth defeat in 12 games, and are also winless in their past five road contests.

The Jets lead the way as -200 home favourites on the Thursday NHL odds and are a short +125 puck line wager to win by a multi-goal margin. The Flames lag as +165 underdogs and the total is pegged at 6.0, with the UNDER sporting -120 odds.

Flames vs. Jets NHL Betting Odds

Calgary will be looking to sweep their season series with the Jets on Thursday night. The Flames recorded a pair of convincing victories over Winnipeg on home ice earlier this season and have now won four of five in head-to-head action, capped by three straight wins by multi-goal margins. However, it has been all downhill for the Flames since early March, with the club going 4-10-0 in their past 14 games and getting outscored by a wide 24-9 margin during their five-game slide on the road.

The Jets have struggled to shut down opposing shooters during their current swoon, allowing almost four goals per game while losing six of seven. This club has also been shaky at home of late, failing to tally consecutive wins during a middling 3-4-1 run, and scoring more than three goals just twice over that stretch.

Calgary Flames

The Flames squandered a second-period lead in Tuesday’s loss to the Ducks and have now forfeited an early advantage in two of their past three contests. Andrei Kuzmenko has remained productive during the club’s recent struggles. The talented Russian potted a pair of goals in Tuesday’s loss and has now recorded two points in each of his past three games. Leading scorer Nazem Kadri has also been steady, picking up a pair of points in each of the past two games and six total points during his current four-game points streak.

Winnipeg Jets

The Jets will be without forward Nino Neiderreiter after suffering a severe cut to his leg in Monday’s loss to Los Angeles. The 31-year-old had already been struggling, going pointless in his past 13 game appearances. Mark Scheifele has also struggled to produce, scoring just one goal and adding just a single assist over his past six outings. Conversely, Kyle Connor has picked up the pace. Connor set up all three goals in Monday’s loss to the Kings and has recorded five total helpers over his past four outings.
