The Arizona Coyotes are the worst team in the NHL right now and will enter Sunday’s action having lost four in a row. They’ve given up at least four goals in each of the losses while failing to score more than two themselves. They have to prepare for the Winnipeg Jets in this one, a team that has clawed its way back into the postseason race. They have won five of their last seven games and are right behind the Dallas Stars and the Vegas Golden Knights for the final wild-card spot out in the Western Conference.

The Coyotes have a record of 52-110 in their last 162 games against teams in the Central Division and are also just 22-50 in their past 72 contests when getting listed as the underdog like they are in this matchup.
Winnipeg is undefeated in its past four games against teams in the Western Conference and 6-1 in their past seven when going up against a team on one day of rest. To make matters worse for the Coyotes, the Jets are 11-2 against them when playing at home.
Arizona Coyotes
The Coyotes are clearly in the middle of a rebuild, but that doesn’t mean they won’t step in and play hard. That might not mean a lot, though. This team had won six of seven right before this four-game losing streak.
Throughout this season, five players have scored their first-ever NHL goal on this Coyotes roster. Both of the goals they scored in their last game against the Calgary Flames came by players who have never hit the back of the net.
Winnipeg Jets
This is a tremendous opportunity for the Jets to keep momentum on their side and to continue to climb in the standings. The Jets haven’t scored less than two goals in a game since March 6, which bodes well for them against the Coyotes’ 28th ranked defence. The only thing they can’t do here is if they overlook Arizona because of their record. After this, they get another gimme against the Buffalo Sabres. Considering the Jets have won seven of 10, this is probably a good spot to trust them to win again.
