While the Minnesota Wild find themselves clinched already, the Vancouver Canucks are still sitting in the 10th seed in the hopes that they can make a last-minute run. They are four points out with four games to go.

A loss here could potentially take them out of postseason contention, so they will be playing their hardest to stay alive. Can they keep trucking forward or will this be the final nail in the coffin?

Vancouver is currently 6-0 straight up in their last six games against teams in the Western Conference. They are also 6-1 in their last seven games overall, so their play seems to be turning around at the very last second here. Moving over to the Wild now, they are also playing really well lately. They’ve won five straight against teams from the Pacific Division and a 5-1 overall record in their last six games. The Canucks are just one of those teams that are solid all-around but they are just a few pieces away from being in championship contention. Kirill Kaprizov is just one of their stellar offensive weapons that leads the way for this team. He leads the squad in goals (43) and points (94) while Mats Zuccarello and Kevin Fiala are both following closely behind with 75 points each. The Canucks may have a top 10 ranked defensive unit right now, but Minnesota will be combating that with a ridiculously powerful offense that plays really fast. They have something to lose from this game also, as they could slip down the postseason seeding with a loss.
