The Canucks opened their current five-game road trip on Thursday with a 5-3 victory in Dallas but have yet to record consecutive wins so far in early-season action. The Blackhawks return home after skating to an 8-3 victory in St. Louis on Wednesday that extends that current win streak to two games.
The Canucks arrive in the Windy City perched as -145 favourites on Friday’s NHL odds. The Blackhawks trail as +118 underdogs and the total is pegged at 6.

The Canucks have consistently filled the net during their win streak in Chicago, averaging 4.17 goals per game and have seen five of those victories come by a multi-goal margin.
