On a positive note, Josh Anderson finally snapped a 15-game drought with a goal that gave the Habs a lead over Tampa Bay in the final frame of Saturday’s loss. But with just six total points scored since New Year’s Day, the veteran winger remains on pace to have his worst season in Montreal. Juraj Slafkovsky has also cooled off after enjoying a sizzling start to 2024, recording just one total point in the past six games. However, Cole Caufield has remained productive while contributing helpers in each of the team’s past three road dates.
Nashville Predators
The Predators enter Tuesday’s action deadlocked with Los Angeles in the Western Conference wild card race, and can earn themselves some much needed breathing room with win over the Habs. There has been no shortage of impressive offensive performances during the team’s win streak. Cody Glass is the latest Preds shooter to take centre stage after recording a hat trick in Saturday’s win over the Avalanche, and has now recorded four points in two games. Roman Josi has continued to produce offence from the blue line. With an assist on Saturday, Josi has now tallied five goals and 13 helpers in his past 13 outings and is a solid -120 bet on the NHL player props to pick up at least one assist on Tuesday.
