Conversely, the Bruins have mustered just three wins in their past 11 outings, and arrive in Toronto riding a four-game road losing streak after dropping a 5-1 decision to the New York Islanders on Saturday night.
The Maple Leafs are pegged as high-value -130 home favourites in Monday’s date with their Original Six rivals, and sport +170 odds on the NHL puck line to claim victory by multiple goals. The Bruins trail as +110 underdogs, and the total is listed at 6.5, with -120 odds favouring the UNDER.
Bruins vs. Maple Leafs NHL Betting Odds
The Maple Leafs will be looking to snap a five-game losing streak against Boston when they hit the ice for Monday’s matchup. The Leafs have seen four of their recent five losses to the Bruins come by a single goal, with each of their past three dates needing overtime or a shootout to determine a winner including Boston’s 4-3 overtime win at Scotiabank Arena on December 2. However, the red-hot start the Bruins were enjoying when they last visited Toronto has since faded, with Boston losing three or more in a row on four occasions while compiling a middling 19-9-11 record in 39 games since. That streaky play extends to the road, where the Bruins have been outscored by a 15-8 margin during their four-game slide, and have been limited to three or fewer goals eight times while losing seven of their past 11.
While the Bruins have faded, the Maple Leafs have found a higher gear. Overall, Toronto has gone 14-4-0 since snapping a four-game slide in mid-January, and have excelled at both ends of the ice during their current 9-1-0 run. The Buds have limited opponents to just 2.80 goals per game, and have six of their nine recent wins come by multi-goal margins. Despite their recent resurgence, the Maple Leafs have yet to enjoy a breakthrough on the NHL futures, where they sit off the pace, both as a +1300 bet on the Stanley Cup odds and a +700 wager to win the Eastern Conference crown.

The Bruins were thoroughly outclassed in Saturday’s loss to the Islanders, win which they spotted the Islanders a 5-0 lead before avoiding the shutout with a garbage time goal in the final frame. The Boston attack once again faltered, generating just 23 shots against the Islanders, leaving little for Bruins fans to get excited about heading into Monday’s date in TO. David Pastrnak remains one of the few exceptions. Pastrnak piled up two goals and three assists in the two games prior to Saturday’s defeat, and has compiled 15 points in 13 appearances since the All-Star break.
Toronto Maple Leafs
The Maple Leafs’ top producers played like it in Saturday’s entertaining 4-3 shootout win over the New York Rangers. While Auston Matthews failed to score, he picked up an assist, and has now piled up 13 goals and seven helpers since the All-Star break. Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and John Tavares all found the back of the net on Saturday. Nylander has silenced his critics in the wake of his recent contract extension by scoring eight times and racking up 18 points during an impressive 10-game points streak.
