The Kraken have opened their current six-game home stand with consecutive victories, capped by Tuesday’s 5-2 win over Columbus, snapping a dismal 1-6-1 run that featured three straight defeats at home. The Blackhawks travel to the coast on a high after topping Minnesota in a narrow 2-1 victory on Sunday night and will be aiming to extend a respectable 3-2-0 run over their past five road dates.

The Kraken are set to hit the ice as -160 home favourites on the Thursday NHL odds. The Blackhawks are pegged as a short -190 bet on the NHL puckline and the total is listed at 6.0.

Blackhawks vs. Kraken NHL Betting Odds

The Blackhawks have enjoyed little success in Seattle since the Kraken joined the NHL three years ago. The club has failed to earn a road win over the Kraken since their first ever visit to Seattle in November 2021, falling to defeat in three road dates since by a combined 20-6.

Overall, the Kraken have taken six of nine from Chicago, with each of their past five wins coming by multi-goal margins. However, the Kraken have produced streaky results on home ice this season, alternating between consecutive wins and losses while compiling a 4-3-1 record but are undefeated in their past three as home chalk.

The Blackhawks have leveraged an increasingly stingy defence while winning four of seven overall, allowing just 2.71 goals per game but have also been limited to two or fewer goals in seven of 11 outings and have seen the UNDER pay out in four straight outings.

Chicago Blackhawks

Goals have come at a premium for the Blackhawks, who have potted just four total markers over their past three games and been outshot by an average of 12 shots over their past two outings. Connor Bedard continues to lead all Chicago skaters with 13 points but has failed to score in seven straight games and generated just one total assist over his past three contests.

Journeyman Ryan Donato has emerged as the team’s leading scorer in the early going with seven goals to date but has found the back of the net just once in his past five outings.

Fortunately, the club has received solid performance between the pipes, Petr Mrazek made 32 saves while backstopping the club to Sunday’s win and surrendered just 2.57 goals per game during his current 3-4-0 run.

Seattle Kraken

The Kraken have snapped out of a lengthy early-season swoon with a couple character performances. The club needed to overcome early deficits in each of the two recent wins and got better as each of those games progressed.

With goaltender Joey Daccord slamming the door, the Kraken have allowed just one total goal after the first 20 minutes during their 2-0-0 run after getting outscored by a wide 15-4 during a preceding four-game slide.

Jared McCann continues to lead the squad with eight goals and 11 assists. Jordan Eberle contributed a pair of helpers on Tuesday, snapping a five-game pointless drought.
