Titans vs. Packers Point Spread: NFL Week 16 Odds, Prediction
Having already clinched the NFC South title, the Green Bay Packers have bigger things in mind as they entertain the Tennessee Titans on Sunday night. The Packers have reeled off four straight wins and now own the best record in the NFC – an honor that comes with home-field advantage through the conference title game if they hold on. Tennessee also has plenty to play for, heading to Wisconsin tied with the Indianapolis Colts for top spot in the AFC South.
NFL Week 16 Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Green Bay comes in as a three-point favourite – and as you might expect, that narrow spread has earned plenty of attention from bettors, who are taking the Titans and the points at a 57-percent clip. The Packers have done well to pull away from the pack in the NFC North but are just 2-4 against the spread (ATS) in their last six games overall. Tennessee, meanwhile, has covered four of its past five games and is a red-hot 10-2 SU in its last 12 games away from Nashville.
This game carries a “get-your-popcorn”-level total of 56, and bettors are still siding with the Over at a 74-percent majority. The Titans have cashed the Over in five of their previous six games, with three of those outings exceeding 70 total points. And while the Packers are riding a 4-2 Under run over their last six outings, the teams have surpassed total five times in their last six head-to-head encounters (including a 47-25 Tennessee win in their last meeting in 2016).

The Titans are laser-focused on getting to 12 wins and making some noise in the AFC playoffs – but they’d also like to get superstar running back Derrick Henry to the 2,000 rushing yard plateau. He enters the weekend needing 321 yards to become the eighth member of the exclusive club, and the first to do it since Adrian Peterson in 2012. The Packers surrender just 110.1 rushing yards per game, but are allowing 4.5 yards per attempt.

The Packers have their own player-specific campaign going, too – and it centers around their stunningly rejuvenated quarterback. Despite dealing with tension and controversy heading into the 2020 season, Aaron Rodgers has been revelatory for Green Bay, leading the NFL with 40 touchdown passes while ranking sixth in passing yards. He’s presently second in the MVP odds, behind only Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
