Sole possession of top spot in the AFC South is at stake Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis when the Colts host the Tennessee Titans. Both teams come in with identical 7-3 records, with the Colts listed as narrow favourites primarily due to having home-field advantage. Indianapolis will be hoping for a repeat of its Week 10 performance, when it dominated the Titans throughout a statement-making 34-17 triumph in Nashville on Nov. 12.

NFL Week 12 Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Indianapolis is favoured by a field goal in the hotly-anticipated rematch of that Week 10 game, one which saw the Colts outgain the Titans 430-294 while racking up 26 first downs. Early bettors like the revenge narrative here, with nearly three-quarters of bettors taking the Titans and the points. The Colts have had the upper hand in this regard in recent history, having covered in four of the previous five encounters.

The total for Sunday’s showdown is set at 51, which matches the point total from their Week 10 meeting. Tennessee has been one of the more reliable Over plays in the NFL for the majority of the season, having gone 7-1-1 O/U in its past nine contests. The Colts are riding a similar trend, having posted a 5-1 O/U record in their last five games. Indianapolis scoring 30+ points four times in that span.

Tennessee Titans

Bettors will be watching where the yardage prop lands for Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who was limited to just 157 yards on 15-of-27 passing in one of his least impressive showings of the season. The Colts are allowing the fourth-fewest passing yards per game in the NFL so far, while holding teams to just 14 passing touchdowns and snagging 12 interceptions. Look for the Under on Tannehill’s passing yard prop to be popular.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have exceeded just about everyone’s expectations when it comes to scoring output. Coming into Week 12  they rank 10th in the league at 27.6 points per game. Look for quarterback Philip Rivers to air it out as he did in the previous meeting, when he surpassed the 300-yard plateau. Keep an eye on wide receiver Michael Pittman, as well, after he erupted for 101 receiving yards on seven catches in the victory in Tennessee.
