Thursday Night Football odds: Vikings RB Aaron Jones Questionable vs. Chargers
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. is questionable for tonight’s Thursday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Jones is managing a hamstring injury. He was a limited participant in practice all week.
Sports Interaction’s NFL odds list the Vikings as 3.5-point road underdogs.
Jones hasn’t played since hitting the IR with the hamstring issue in Week 2. He has been limited to just 46 yards on 13 rushes and three catches for 44 yards and a touchdown. Last season Jones was a huge piece of Minnesota’s offence, rushing for more than 1100 yards with five touchdowns and added another 51 catches for 408 yards and two more scores.
Meanwhile, Jordan Mason has picked up the slack in the backfield, piling up 301 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns in Jones’ absence.
The Vikings have one win and two losses in their last three games, with all three contests decided by less than a touchdown. The Chargers have also lost two of their last three.
