The NFL’s first regular-season game in Paris is a highlight of Week 7 on Sunday morning as Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers take on the “host” New Orleans Saints. Pittsburgh is -2.5 on the NFL odds with a total of 44.5 points.

Steelers vs. Saints Kickoff, Weather, TV, Streaming Info

In Canada, Steelers vs. Saints kicks off Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET and is available to stream nationwide on DAZN through NFL Game Pass. There is a roof but only over the spectators, and the weather forecast for Sunday isn’t great: Steady light rain in the morning. Showers continuing in the afternoon. High near 16°C. Winds WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%.

NFL Betting Odds, Point Spread, Trends

There is a lot of civil unrest happening in France right now, but the game will go on as scheduled – at least for now. The Saints already are over there as they flew out directly from the New York area after playing there Sunday. The Steelers will to practice in Pittsburgh before departing for France on Thursday. Of course, Louisiana was once a French territory, so it made all the sense in the world for New Orleans to be the first team to “host” a game over there.

This will mark the final international game in the Hall of Fame career of Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has said he will retire after this season (and seems to mean it). He obviously will be a big draw to the local fans as one of the league’s biggest stars the past two decades or so. Rodgers led the Steelers to a win in the NFL’s first game in Ireland last year against Minnesota.

These franchises have met 17 times, all in the regular season, and the Saints lead 9-8. The last met in 2022, and the Steelers prevailed 20-10 at home to end a three-game skid in the series.

NFL Player Odds and Props

Bet Pittsburgh’s Aaron Rodgers for at least two TD passes as he has found the Fountain of Youth of sorts with at least two in four straight games. For New Orleans, back tailback Kendre Miller for an anytime touchdown. He only has two but has gotten more total touches of late.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh is in a three-way tie for first in the AFC North after a 26-19 overtime comeback win in Tampa on Sunday – the Bucs were up 16-3 in the third quarter. But Aaron Rodgers had a fourth-quarter TD pass and the winning TD throw in overtime. In doing so, he tied fellow legend and multiple-time MVP Peyton Manning for third on the NFL’s career list with 539 career TD throws. Only Tom Brady (649) and Drew Brees (571) have more. It was Rodgers’ 14th career comeback win of at least 13 points, third-most by any QB since 1950. It snapped his personal 31-game losing streak when trailing by more than 10 points in a game, which was the NFL’s longest active by a QB. Rodgers, playing without injured receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson, hit Germie Bernard on that winning TD, and Bernard became the first rookie in league annals with at least 10 receptions and an overtime touchdown in a game. The Steelers had been undefeated at home but 0-2 on the road.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints are really hard to figure out. They looked so good in a Week 2 upset in Baltimore, then so badly in a three-game home losing streak. Only to look good again Sunday and save the season with a 34-27 victory at the New York Giants.  New Orleans has now trailed by double digits in both victories, and it outrushed New York 175-84. It scored 34 consecutive points after down 10-0. The Saints entered allowing 148.8 rush yards per game, among the worst in the league. Second-year QB Tyler Shough had his first career game with at least three TD passes and no picks. It was already his fourth career win when trailing in a game by double digits, fourth-most by any Saints signal-caller. He is playing through broken bones in his non-throwing hand. New Orleans played without a starting defender up front and at linebacker and then saw secondary players Kool-Aid McKinstry and Quincy Riley leave injured.
