Seahawks vs. Titans Point Spread: NFL Pre-Season Week 2 Odds, Prediction
The Seahawks were the last team standing last season, as they beat the New England Patriots to bring home a second championship, their first since 2013. Most of the Super Bowl-winning squad remains, so the Seahawks are a clear favourite to get right back to football’s biggest game.
It’s a different story for the Tennessee Titans, as they bring a new head coach in Robert Saleh and a new offensive coordinator in former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll to revamp this Titans offence. The hope is that putting pieces in place for franchise quarterback Cam Ward will kickstart his development.
Despite being a preseason contest, this game should be a good one, so let’s go over the betting angles, review both teams and then make a prediction.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Here’s how Sports Interaction’s NFL preseason odds board is pricing this game:
- Point Spread: Seahawks +4.5 (-115) vs Titans -4.5 (-105)
- Money Line: Seahawks (+180) vs Titans (-218)
- Game Total (Over/Under): Over 38.5 (-105) / Under 38.5 (-115)
It’s a preseason game with a lot of turnover between personnel groups, especially in the second half. The impetus for both teams isn’t exactly scoring a lot of points here. The under 38.5 is always in play for the preseason, but Saleh has said that the Titans’ starters will play roughly 25-30 snaps, so that’s about a half’s worth. As of this writing, we have no word on whether the Seahawks’ starters will play, but it’s believed that most of the starters will get a little game action.
Seattle Seahawks
We’re looking at essentially the same Seattle Seahawks squad that hoisted the Lombardi Trophy about six months ago, anchored by last season’s Offensive Player of the Year, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and quarterback Sam Darnold. Kenneth Walker III is now in Kansas City as the Chiefs’ prized free-agent acquisition. To shore up the run game, the Seahawks used their first-round pick to secure Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price. This is an offence that should score a ton of points yet again in 2026.
Their defence is also stacked with cornerback Devon Witherspoon, safety Nick Emmanwori, edge rusher Demarcus Lawrence and a host of talented defenders at the beck and call of defensive coordinator Aden Durde and Macdonald himself. Seattle is one of the most imposing teams in the NFL and everybody is paying attention to the preseason (and Hard Knocks) to see if they can get an edge on the defending champs.
Tennessee Titans
The Titans have a lot of work to do in revamping their entire roster, but Saleh, Daboll and defensive coordinator Gus Bradley have their work cut out for them. Tennessee was putrid on offence last season, and a lot of that falls on the shoulders of 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward, who went through some bumps in the road in his rookie season. The Titans added not just the No. 4 overall pick in wide receiver Carnell Tate as Ward’s new top target, but Wan’Dale Robinson, who has ties to Daboll with the Giants when he was head coach. Adding those pieces to returning players like Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard and promising sophomores Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor represents a huge talent boost from last season’s 3-14 squad.
On defence, franchise stalwart Jeffery Simmons remains at tackle, but two Day-2 picks were used on the defensive side of the ball with edge Keldric Faulk and linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. to infuse some much-needed young talent on that side of the ball. Both sides of the ball are works in progress, but being competitive should be the bar this season while the Titans continue to gather talent.
Preseason Prediction: Who Will Win Seahawks vs. Titans?
As far as who wins this game, well, winning isn’t the aim in these preseason games. Sometimes, they end up tied because they don’t want anybody to get hurt by extending the game. The Titans are favoured and are more likely to play their starters a bit more, just to get into a rhythm with so much new personnel and coaches. That said, we’ll take the under 38.5 mark here and a Titans win in Nashville.
Final Score Prediction: Titans 24, Seahawks 13
