Seahawks vs. Jaguars Point Spread: NFL Week 14 Odds, Prediction
Two teams trending in the right direction and aspirations of post season glory. Those are the expectations for both the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars when they meet at EverBank Stadium this Sunday afternoon. Both teams are 8-4 on the year, and both teams are coming off wins this past Sunday.
Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Something to consider, the Seahawks are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four road games, while the Jaguars are 1-5 ATS in their last six games following an ATS win, but are also 4-1 ATS in their last five games against teams with winning records. While the Seahawks are 3-1 vs. non-conference teams, the Jaguars are still looking for their first non-conference win in three tries.

Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are coming off a statement win over the team that held the best record in the league (Philadelphia Eagles). Seattle now sits at 8-4 (4-2 on the road), one full game behind first place Los Angeles in the NFC West. The Seahawks are hurting on the defensive side (still without Richard Sherman, Cliff Avril, and Kam Chancellor) of the ball, but after winning two games in a row, they are making a run at another division title. This is a well-balanced team, currently ranked tenth in total offence (358.7), and ninth in total defence (321.2). The Seahawks may have found the running back they have been looking for all season, as Mike Davis carried the ball 16 times for 64 yards in the win against the Eagles.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars are 4-1 in their last five games, coming off a 30-10 over the Indianapolis Colts. Blake Bortles has been inconsistent this season, but he had one of his better games on Sunday, passing for 309 yards, and two touchdowns. The Jags are currently sitting with a record of 8-4 (4-2 at home), and are tied for the AFC South with the Tennessee Titans, every game will matter from here on in. An interesting match-up will be Leonard Fournette, who is ranked seventh in rushing this season (822 yards), facing the number eight defence against the run in the Seahawks (98.3). Also, the Jaguars own the NFL’s number one defence (Total yards allowed – 282.5), and also have allowed the fewest amount of points against (1st – 14.8). They will be tested Sunday, as Russell Wilson is 6th ranked quarterback on NFL.com (3256 yards this season).
