Seahawks vs. Dolphins Point Spread: NFL Week 4 Odds, Prediction
On the other hand, the Miami Dolphins are a very young and inexperienced team with a lot of potential they are just 1-2 so far. They’ve been competitive, though, so can they put a scare into the Seahawks?

Seattle Seahawks
Russell Wilson is a legitimate MVP candidate through three weeks of action as he’s the first quarterback ever to have 14 passing through three games. He has been playing so well that his recent performance dropped – yes, dropped – his passer rating. He just threw for 315 yards with no interceptions and five touchdowns, yet his rating dropped. He has to keep this up as the defense has been brutal – even after the addition of star safety Jamal Adams. They just allowed Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott throw for 472 yards against them and as a unit, rank dead last in the NFL in yards allowed per game. That will have to improve if they’re to truly be a Super Bowl contender.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are coming off of a dominating win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in a game where Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 160 yards and two touchdowns and no interceptions. He had just two incompletions. Maybe that continues when you consider that the Seahawks defense is so putrid these days. The Dolphins have some good receiving weapons in DeVante Parker, Preston Williams and Mike Gesicki. The key will be for the good Fitzpatrick to show up as he seems to Jekyll-and-Hyde from week to week.
The Dolphins defense has been disappointing this season as they spent a lot of money to add parts to it in the offseason. They are currently ranked eighth-worst overall, giving up 399.3 yards per game. They are getting gashed on the ground where they are also eighth-wort, giving up 133.7 rushing yards per game. That’s a bad spot to be in with a red-hot Russell Wilson coming to town.
