Saints vs. Giants Week 6 Betting Odds, Prediction and Picks: Winston Faces Former Team

Add Sports Interacton as Your Preferred News Source

In Week 6, two NFC teams heading in opposite directions will meet at MetLife Stadium as the 1-4 New Orleans Saints, losers of three straight, visit the 3-1-1 New York Giants, who, somewhat improbably, lead the NFC East heading into Week 6.

The Saints beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, but have dropped three straight at home since, including a 45-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4 and a 23-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings last week.

The Giants haven’t lost since a Week 2 defeat to the Los Angeles Rams. Jameis Winston, who might have a revenge game narrative in the back of his mind having played for the Saints for several seasons, has been the starting quarterback since Jaxson Dart went down with a season-ending knee injury, and he led a comeback from 14 points down for a 27-27 tie in Washington last Sunday.

New Orleans won last year’s meeting 26-14 as the Giants committed five turnovers, including three lost fumbles.

Saints vs. Giants Kickoff, Weather, TV, Streaming Info

Kickoff is set for Sunday, 1:00 PM ET, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. The game will air on FOX, with streaming available on NFL+ and Fubo.

Weather looks like it will be very sunny and mild for game time, with temperatures in the 17 degree range, with no precipitation in the forecast and light winds.

NFL Betting Odds, Point Spread, Trends

The visiting Saints are 1.5-point road favourites at +100, with the Giants at +1.5 (-120). The money line is Saints -115 and Giants -105, and the game total sits at 45.5 (over -112, under -108). It’s also worth noting that the Giants opened as 1.5-point home underdogs, and the game total has crept up from 44.5.

The Giants have been a reliable bet so far this season, as they’re 4-1 against the spread, 3-0 at home and 3-0 since Dart’s injury, while the Saints are 2-3 ATS and 0-2 when favoured by 1.5 points or more. The over is 3-2 in the games of both teams.

The Saints allow 30.2 points per game; 31st in the NFL. That leaky defence is awfully inviting for a gunslinger like Winston, who should have room to operate, even if his turnover habit keeps this game closer than he’d like.

Taking the Giants +1.5 makes sense against a Saints team that has not been able to get stops, especially at MetLife, where New York has covered every time so far in 2026.

NFL Player Odds and Props

Chris Olave anytime touchdown (+140)

Chris Olave has 537 receiving yards, second in the NFL behind Seattle’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Olave remains the centrepiece of the Saints’ passing game despite a quiet 46-yard day against Minnesota.

New Orleans has played from behind all season and with injuries to their running backs, they’ve throwing often. Facing a Giants defence that has allowed plenty of yards should give quarterback Tyler Shough chances to find Olave in the red zone.

Malik Nabers 100+ receiving yards (+281)

Malik Nabers has eclipsed 100+ yards receiving in his last two games, with 20 targets in last week’s outing against the Commanders.

His connection with Winston has really hit its stride and, with the surprising Giants adept at moving the ball through the air with Nabers and tight end Isaiah Likely, look for Nabers to be the key cog here.

Nabers’ original over/under line for receiving yards is set at 69.5, but we can juice that up in a matchup that promises to have some offensive fireworks.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints’ season has been defined by a defence that just can’t get stops. Allowing 30.2 points per game, New Orleans has also given up a league-high 18 touchdowns to opposing offences.

The Saints’ offensive attack has been the more reliable unit, scoring 118 points through five games, converting 81.2% of its red-zone trips (third in the league) and throwing the ball more than almost anyone with Shough and Olave.

After a 31-30 loss in Detroit and a Week 2 win in Baltimore, New Orleans has lost three straight at home, and head coach Kellen Moore has pointed to slow starts as a recurring problem. They sit last in the NFC South in point differential and are winless in division play heading into Week 6.

New York Giants

Under first-year head coach John Harbaugh, the Giants have been much steadier than their offensive numbers suggest.

They haven’t lost since Week 2, going 2-0-1 in that stretch, and they lead the NFC East at 3-1-1. The offence is middling, averaging 21.8 points per game (tied for 21st) and 199.2 passing yards (20th). It leans on the run when it can, with Cam Skattebo as the lead back.

But, with Nabers healthy and a breakout from tight end Likely, the Giants are much more formidable than given credit for.

Defensively, New York gives up a lot of yards but makes up for it with turnovers, ranking fourth in the league in interception rate.
