The Los Angeles Rams are fresh of a statement win over their division rivals and roll into Nashville seeking to hand the Tennessee Titans their third straight loss.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Rams opened as 6.5-point away favourites on the Sports Interaction NFL odds board with the total set at 48.5.

Los Angeles walloped the Seahawks at Seattle 42-7 on Sunday and easily covered as a 1-point road favourite. The result improves the Rams record to 10-4 straight up and 9-5 against the spread and it also puts them in the driver’s seat to win the NFC West.

It’s quite the turnaround for a team that went 4-12 SU and 4-11-1 ATS the previous year. The Rams were around +1400 longshots in the preseason to win their division, but it would take a major collapse in the season’s final two weeks for them to fail to take the NFC West.

The Titans lost 25-23 to the San Francisco 49ers in a field-goal fest. Tennessee covered as 2.5-point underdogs but the result puts its playoff hopes in danger. The Titans are 8-6 SU, 6-7-1 ATS and the over is 8-6 in their 14 games this season.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams scored a total of 224 points in 16 games last year – and if they score at least 10 points against the Titans they will have doubled their offensive output with an another game still to go.

Second-year quarterback Jared Goff is playing great but there’s no question running back Todd Gurley is the catalyst of the Los Angeles attack. Gurley leads the NFL in total touchdowns with 17 including the four he collected on Sunday against the Seahawks. He’s improved his average yards per touch from 3.8 in 2016 to 5.8 this season.

Tennessee Titans

Tennessee’s was due for a narrow loss like Sunday’s against San Francisco. The Titans’ lost on a last-second field goal by Niners kicker Robbie Gould, but were 8-0 straight up in their previous eight games decided by four or fewer points.

Last week Marcus Mariota passed for 241 yards and two touchdowns with no turnovers and completed 69.7 percent of his pass attempts.
