The Seahawks haven’t exactly been a bettor’s dream this season but remain very much in the division title hunt despite last week’s 30-24 setback to Carolina. The Rams are coming off a wild 43-35 loss to Philadelphia and will look to tighten up what had been a top-10 defence prior to last weekend.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Seahawks have a slight edge thanks to home-field advantage, but this game is expected to be a toss-up by any measure. Seattle has just five covers through the first 13 games of the season but has been one of the best bounceback teams in the NFL of late, going 9-2-1 ATS in its last 12 games following a straight-up loss. The Rams have covered in six of their last eight but are a dismal 2-8 ATS in their previous 10 games at CenturyLink Field.

Sports Interaction participants are siding with the home team by a 56 percent margin, while 77 percent are taking the under on the 48-point total. The Rams are trending heavily toward the over – they’re 5-1 O/U in their last six road games and have exceeded the total in five of their last six following a straight-up win. Seattle, on the other hand, has gone under in four straight divisional games and eight of nine against NFC opponents.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams had allowed more than 20 points just once in their previous eight games – including a 16-10 loss to Seattle in Week 5 – before getting blasted by the NFC-leading Eagles last week. On the plus side, the offence continues to roll along at a breakneck pace, sitting second in the NFL in scoring at 30.5 points per game. The Rams have also converted 94.7 percent of their field goal chances, the second-best rate in the league entering Week 15.

Seattle Seahawks

The Rams’ offence had its hands full with the Seahawks’ vaunted pass defence in Week 5, but injuries have decimated Seattle ahead of Sunday’s rematch. The latest: Linebacker Bobby Wagner, whose status is up in the air after he suffered a hamstring injury against the Panthers. The Seahawks will need to be more disciplined in what is expected to be a tightly contested affair; they lead the NFL by a wide margin in accepted penalties (120) and yards (1,040).
