NFL Betting Odds, Point Spread, Trends

Los Angeles enters as a 5.5-point favourite and -255 on the moneyline, while Washington is listed at +210 to win outright. The total is set at 47.5 points.

The Rams are 4-4 against the spread and have won three of their past five games, including consecutive victories over Las Vegas and the Chargers. Washington is 4-3 ATS after last week’s convincing win over Philadelphia. Los Angeles also won the most recent meeting between these teams, beating Washington 28-20 in December 2023.

NFL Player Odds and Props

Los Angeles Rams

Kyren Williams Anytime Touchdown (-140)

Williams has rushed for 548 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 4.9 yards per carry, and he has found the end zone in consecutive games. Washington enters with an injury-depleted defensive front, giving Williams another favourable opportunity to see touches around the goal line.

Puka Nacua Over 91.5 Receiving Yards (-118)

Nacua leads Los Angeles with 56 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns. He has cleared this number twice in five games, and his target share could increase with Davante Adams sidelined. That should keep Nacua heavily involved in a Rams passing game that may have to lean on its top receiver even more than usual.

Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels Over 35.5 Rushing Yards (-118)

Daniels’ mobility remains one of the most dangerous elements of Washington’s offence, particularly when passing plays break down. He recently returned from a dislocated elbow, but with several offensive starters unavailable, the Commanders may need him to create more with his legs against the Rams.

Stefon Diggs Anytime Touchdown (+200)

Diggs provides Washington with an experienced receiving threat following Terry McLaurin’s season-ending knee injury. His route-running and ability to create separation should make him an important option for Daniels, particularly in the red zone.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams enter Sunday on consecutive victories after beating the Chargers 24-9 last week. Matthew Stafford threw for 157 yards and a touchdown in the win, while Kyren Williams added 56 rushing yards and a score. Los Angeles has begun to generate some momentum after an uneven first half of the season, but injuries remain a significant concern.

Stafford is dealing with soreness in his throwing arm, while Davante Adams remains on injured reserve following hamstring surgery. The Rams are also dealing with several injuries on defence. Myles Garrett is recovering from knee surgery, defensive tackle Poona Ford is out for the season with a triceps injury, and cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson suffered back and shoulder injuries, respectively, against the Chargers. Tight end Colby Parkinson is also questionable with a rib injury.

Los Angeles will need to protect Stafford and maintain the defensive intensity it showed against the Chargers despite a growing list of unavailable players.

Washington Commanders

Washington enters Week 9 with some momentum of its own after a 27-10 victory over Philadelphia. Jayden Daniels threw for 217 yards and a touchdown without an interception as the Commanders ended their three-game winless streak.

Like the Rams, however, Washington is dealing with substantial injury problems. Terry McLaurin is out for the season with a knee injury, while defensive tackle Daron Payne is also done for the year because of a foot injury. Left tackle Laremy Tunsil, defensive linemen Javon Kinlaw and Jer’Zhan Newton, and running back Jeremy McNichols are all on injured reserve. Newton has entered his practice-return window, while Daniels and Stefon Diggs have recently returned to action.

The depleted defensive front could be particularly important against Kyren Williams and the Rams’ running game. Washington will also need to keep Daniels protected against a Los Angeles pass rush capable of creating pressure when opponents are forced into obvious passing situations.
