Raiders vs. Broncos Point Spread: NFL TNF Week 10 Odds, Prediction

The AFC West-leading Denver Broncos have won six straight and are undefeated at home. They put both streaks on the line against the stumbling Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Las Vegas lost for the sixth time in seven games on Sunday in overtime against Jacksonville. Geno Smith threw for 284 yards and four touchdowns, but could not convert a two-point conversion in the extra period as the Raiders fell to the Jags 30-29. Brock Bowers returned from a knee injury to record three touchdowns and 127 yards on 12 catches.

The Broncos escaped at Houston on Sunday, winning 18-15 on a Wil Lutz field goal as time expired. Denver’s defence held Houston to five field goals without reigning Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain II. The team improved to 4-0 when trailing entering the fourth quarter.

Las Vegas has won eight of 10 in this series, but Denver swept the Raiders last season, including a 34-18 triumph at home.

The Broncos are 9-point favourites to win on the NFL odds, with the total set at 42.5.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Denver is 2-2 against the spread at home, but just 1-3 ATS when favoured by a touchdown or more. The Broncos are just 1-4 straight up in Thursday night contests. The Raiders are 1-3 against the spread on the road, but have won four of five at Denver.

Bowers missed three weeks but didn’t miss a beat, becoming the first tight end since 2014 to record more than 125 yards while scoring three touchdowns in a game. He is a solid option at -135 to catch more than 5.5 passes on Thursday night.

Las Vegas Raiders

Smith looked solid last week, but that was at home. The Raiders haven’t won on the road since Week 1. In their three away contests since, they’ve been outscored 125-50, including combined 71-6 in losses at the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs.

Rookie Ashton Jeanty is coming alive, averaging 94.6 yards from scrimmage the past five games while scoring five times during that stretch. Maxx Crosby has three sacks in the last three games and is third in the NFL with 13 tackles for loss.

Denver Broncos

Denver leads the league in both third-down and red-zone defence. That standing will be tested with Surtain on the sidelines for several weeks with a pectoral strain.

It helps having a pass rush that leads the NFL with 40 sacks. Denver is currently on pace to break the league’s single-season record of 72 set in 1984 by the Chicago Bears.

Denver is averaging 31.3 points at home. That’s nearly 10 points more than what the Broncos are averaging on the road. Bo Nix and company have scored 77 points in the last five quarters at Empower Field at Mile High.

J.K. Dobbins was expected to impact the running game after coming in as a free agent. He is currently fifth in the league with 695 yards on the ground.

NFL Prediction: Who Will Win Raiders vs. Broncos?

Denver’s struggles as a big favourite, but Las Vegas stinks right now. Last week was a golden opportunity to steal a win at home and the Raiders could not do it. Now they’ll go up against an unforgiving defence that should punish Smith all game. The Broncos survived against the Texans’ top-ranked defence last week. They’ll have no such issues on Thursday night against Las Vegas, winning 27-10.
