Panthers vs. Ravens Point Spread: NFL Week 11 Odds, Prediction

At 6-3 the Ravens have sole possession of first in the AFC North, with the 3-7 Panthers only two games out of first in the NFC South. Baltimore’s coming off their bye week while Carolina also had some extended time off thanks to a 25-15 win over Atlanta on Thursday Night Football last week.

Kickoff at M&T Bank Stadium begins at 1 p.m. EST, with Baltimore nearly a two-touchdown favourite at -13 on the point spread. The over-under is at 42.0 on the NFL odds.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

If we’re calling a spade a spade, the Ravens are likely going to win this game. The real focus becomes the point spread, as Baltimore’s yet to cover at home this season (0-3-1 ATS) and have a large number to reach this weekend. Meanwhile Carolina’s even yet to win a game on the road, and have dropped eight straight away games dating back to last season.

The under has been common for Baltimore, hitting in five of their last six overall but also four of their last five at home. Carolina enters 20th in the NFL with 20.4 points per outing, and with the under hitting in six of their last nine contests.

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers found massive success on the ground the last time they took the field, rushing the ball 47 times for 232 yards and two scores. D’Onta Foreman got the bulk of the workload with 31 touches for 130 yards and a score as he continues to play extremely well as Carolina’s new feature back.

The Panthers remain in the bottom three in the NFL by averaging 294.2 yards per game, but if they can build on this new identity of pounding the rock they should climb up that list. Especially with a concern regarding quarterback P.J. Walker’s health, as Walker missed practice Wednesday with an ankle injury. Offensive tackle Taylor Moton (elbow) was limited as well.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens got some good news returning from the bye week as both tight end Mark Andrews and running back Gus Edwards returned as limited practice participants. Andrews, the only Ravens pass-catcher with other 320 yards this season missed Week 9 with his knee and shoulder injuries.

As per usual, with no Andrews in the lineup the Baltimore offence relied on the ground game and ran the ball 40 times for 188 yards and two scores the last time they hit the field. Kenyan Drake led the way with 24 touches for 93 yards and two scores but quarterback Lamar Jackson also rushed 11 times for 82 yards. Jackson remains 12th in the NFL with 635 rushing yards and is +830 to with the NFL MVP.
