Quarterback

Lamar Jackson (foot – Bal)
Looks like Jackson should be fine to start in Buffalo after missing some practice time last week with a minor foot issue.

Running Back

De’Von Achane (calf – MIA)
The Dolphins were a little worried about Achane’s status for their matchup against Cleveland but it looks like he’ll suit up after getting in a limited workout on Wednesday. Whether he gets his usual run with the starters isn’t so clear.

Joe Mixon (ankle – HOU)

The Texans stated that Mixon is out for at least four weeks and will re-evaluate him then. There’s talk that he could miss the entire season. That leaves some major question marks in the Houston backfield.

Najee Harris (eye – LAC)

Things look more promising for Harris now than they did last week. At first the Chargers didn’t think there was much of a chance he’d suit up Friday against the Chiefs, and now there is talk that he may start after getting in a full workout on Tuesday. Keep an eye on this one – yuk, yuk.

Tyjae Spears (ankle– TEN)

Spears has suffered an high-ankle sprain and is headed to the IR.

Wide Receiver

Malik Nabers (back – NYG)

Nabers was a bit banged up nearing the end of camp, but is back practicing and should be fine to start as NYG’s No. 1 wideout.

Brandon Aiyuk (knee – SF)

Aiyuk’s knee injury should have him sidelined for at least five or six weeks.

Chris Godwin (WR – TB)

Godwin avoided the IR, but will miss multiple weeks with his ankle injury.

Jalen Coker (quad – CAR)

Coker is also out for at least four games (IR) with a quad injury.

Jalen McMillan (neck– TB)

McMillan’s neck issue is going to cost him some time. The team doesn’t expect him before Week 10.

Khalil Shakir (ankle – BUF)

Shakir’s high-ankle sprain has improved to the point where he should be available in Week 1. He has been a full participant in the last couple of Buffalo’s practices.

Darnell Mooney (shoulder – ATL)

Atlanta’s No. 2 wide receiver is officially “day-to-day” with a shoulder injury. He’s working toward playing this weekend, though that’s far from certain at this point.

Tight End

Cade Otton (leg – TB)

Another one to check in on here. It sounds as though Otton will be out for a while.

Isaiah Likely (foot – BAL)

There is no current timetable for Likely’s return after he had foot surgery.
