NFL Conference Championship Predictions: Best Picks Against the Spread
2020 NFL Playoff Odds
Three of the four teams left standing all have won at least one Super Bowl in franchise history. The surprising Tennessee Titans are the only club that hasn’t. Here’s a quick look at both games with Sports Interaction odds.
Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs
A kickoff of 3:05 p.m. ET from Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs also hosted last season’s AFC title game and lost in overtime to the New England Patriots. With how good young Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes is, don’t be surprised if the Chiefs are in many more conference championship games over the next decade barring injury to the reigning NFL MVP. The second-seeded Chiefs rallied from down 24-0 at home in the Divisional Round to Houston – and another great young QB in Deshaun Watson – to win 51-31. Mahomes threw five TD passes, three to tight end Travis Kelce.
Tennessee is easily the biggest surprise in the Final Four as the No. 6 Titans shocked the Baltimore Ravens 28-12 on Saturday night. The Ravens had the NFL’s best regular-season record at 14-2 and had won a franchise-record 12 straight games behind the sure-fire 2019 NFL MVP in quarterback Lamar Jackson. Titans running back and former Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry was a one-man wrecking ball again with 195 yards on 30 carries. He’s having a post-season for the ages. Kansas City lost a wild game at Tennessee in Week 10, 35-32. The Chiefs haven’t lost since.
Point spread: Chiefs -7.5
Pick ATS: Tennessee

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers
A 6:40 p.m. ET kickoff from Levi’s Stadium. The second-seeded Packers are in the conference championship game for the first time since following the 2016 season when they were routed in Atlanta. Green Bay led Seattle 21-3 at halftime on Sunday and held on for a 28-23 victory. Davante Adams was Aaron Rodgers’ favourite target, catching eight passes for 160 yards and two scores. Aaron Jones rushed for two touchdowns. Rodgers grew up not far from the San Francisco area and was a Niners fan.
Top-seeded San Francisco is in the NFC title game for the first time since losing in Seattle following the 2013 regular season. The Niners had little trouble last Saturday night in a 27-10 win over No. 6 Minnesota. The 49ers’ defence was dominant, allowing just 147 total yards and seven first downs while forcing two turnovers (which the Niners turned into 10 points). Tevin Coleman rushed for 105 yards and two scores. San Francisco routed visiting Green Bay 37-8 in Week 12. The Packers haven’t lost since.
Point spread: 49ers -7
Pick ATS: Green Bay at alternate spread of +7.5 (-118)
