Jets vs. Patriots Point Spread: NFL Week 17 Odds, Prediction
The Pats welcome the Jets to Gillette Stadium for the regular season finale with the top overall seed in the AFC playoffs at stake. Will the Jets play spoiler to their old rivals or will the Patriots send out Gang Green with egg on their faces?
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
New England improved to 12-3 straight up and 10-5 against the spread on the season following its 37-16 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Christmas Eve. It was the Pats’ eighth cover in their last nine games and only their third game to go over the total in the last 10.
The Jets are coming off a 14-7 setback at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers. New York covered as a 7.5-point home underdog and improved to 9-5-1 ATS on the season despite its 5-10 mark straight up.
The Pats are 7-3 SU in the last 10 matchups against the Jets but Gang Green is 7-2-1 ATS over the same period.
Tom Brady and Co. are still the Super Bowl favourites on the Sports Interaction NFL futures board at +200.

New York Jets
NY head coach Todd Bowles must not think much of third-string quarterback Christian Hackenberg. Bowles refuses to give Hackenberg a look in game action despite Bryce Petty’s incompetent play under centre.
Petty completed just 15 of his 28 pass attempts for 119 yards with one interception and no TD passes on Sunday against the Chargers. The Jets’ passing offense ranks dead last in the league over the last three contests at 103 yards through the air per contest.
New England Patriots
New England backup quarterbacks have seen some action in each of the Patriots’ last three season finales but Tom Brady did start each contest. The Pats have yet to lock up the first seed in the AFC and the Pittsburgh Steelers can steal the spot if they win and the Pats lose in Week 17.
