It has the makings of the classic trap game – but bettors don’t seem to feel the same as the Green Bay Packers host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon.

The Packers have been the class of the NFC North through the midway point of the NFL’s regular season, and are favoured by nearly two touchdowns against a Jacksonville team that has reeled off seven consecutive losses since opening the season with a victory.

NFL Week 10 Point Spread and Betting Analysis

More than three-quarters of Sports Interaction participants siding with the Packers despite the enormous spread, but bettors should be aware of at least one warning sign. Green Bay is just 2-6 ATS in its previous eight games as a double-digit favourite, and hasn’t covered in that situation since Nov. 11, 2018. That said, the Jaguars haven’t done well with large spreads, having gone a dismal 1-5-1 in their last seven when receiving 10 or more points.

The total for this one is set at 50 – and 70 percent of Sports Interaction bettors are siding with the Over. The Packers are on the other side of a fascinating trend, having played to the Under in their last seven games as faves of 10+ points; only one of those games exceeded 43 points. The Jaguars, on the other hand, have exceeded the total in six of their previous nine games overall and are 4-1 to the Over in their past five November outings.

Jacksonville Jaguars

While the Jaguars begin their preparations for 2021 – plans that will likely include a top-3 NFL Draft pick – they’re almost certain to have running back James Robinson a big part of their offence for next season. Robinson came out of nowhere to become one of the most reliable rushers in the league so far, entering the new week sixth among running backs with 580 yards (and just eight yards back of third-place Josh Jacobs).

Green Bay Packers

Will the Jaguars have an answer for Davante Adams? That question could go a long way in deciding how this game goes; Adams has been on fire of late, with 30 receptions for 422 yards and six touchdowns over his previous three games. Adams’ receiving yard prop is sure to be at the top end of the position this week – but given how much the Jaguars’ pass defence has struggled this season, the Over should be a popular play.
