Both the Rams and Eagles sit atop their respective divisions, and are looking to continue their winning ways. Can the Eagles bounce back from only their second loss of the season? Can the Rams continue to hold off the charging Seahawks in the NFC West division?

Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Rams and Eagles have met 37 times in franchise history, with the Eagles holding the edge in the head to head battle at 19-17-1. The last time they met was back in October of 2014, with the Eagles knocking off the Rams 34-28. Both teams have been very good against the number with the Eagles 9-3 ATS, and the Rams 8-4 ATS. In their last seven games overall, the Rams are 6-1 ATS.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles had their nine game winning streak snapped this past Sunday night in Seattle (24-10). Now the team returns to the Pacific Time zone once again with a conference match-up in Los Angeles. The Eagles have been so good this season on both sides of the ball. Currently 10-2 on the season, this team statistically is the best team in football, ranked third in total offence (385.1) and fourth in total defence (293.2). Second year quarterback Carson Wentz will get consideration for an MVP Trophy at season’s end, especially with a QBR of 102.0. Only Tom Brady, Alex Smith, and Drew Brees rank ahead of him in the category.

Los Angeles Rams

In a game many felt was a trap for the Rams, they dominated the Cardinals in Arizona 32-16 on Sunday afternoon. Jared Goff passed for 220 yards and two touchdowns, while team MVP Todd Gurley did what Todd Gurley does; racing for 74 yards on 19 carries, while catching 6 passes for another 84 yards. The Rams are in first place in the NFC West with a 9-3 record. This offence has been a lot of fun to watch this season, ranked fourth in total offence (372.7) and tied for first in points scored (30.1). Surprising the defence is ranked 16th (334.0), and 27th against the run (122.8), something the Eagles do by committee, but do well 2nd (143.3)
