It’s only Week 4 of the 2026-27 season, but the Minnesota Vikings are already 3-0 and back at U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time since the opener. It hasn’t always been pretty. After a 39-22 comeback win over Green Bay, Minnesota beat Chicago 9-3 without scoring a touchdown, then won 23-16 in Tampa Bay thanks to Myles Price’s 86-yard punt return touchdown and three Will Reichard field goals.

The Miami Dolphins are headed in the opposite direction. Jeff Hafley’s team is 0-3 after double-digit losses to Las Vegas (27-13), San Francisco (35-13), and Kansas City (24-10), and it just lost star running back De’Von Achane to a torn ACL against the Chiefs. Miami has scored only 36 points and three touchdowns all season.

NFL Betting Odds, Point Spread, Trends

This is the biggest spread Minnesota has faced all season. The Vikings opened as 10.5-point favourites on the NFL odds board now and sit at -10.5 (-115) with a -620 money line price, while Miami is +460 as the road underdog. The Over/Under is 38.5, with the Over priced at -115 and the Under at -105. Some books are already dealing Minnesota -11.5.

The Vikings have been one of the best bets in football. They’re 3-0 ATS this season and 7-3 ATS over their last 10 games, and the Under has cashed in eight of those

10. Miami is 0-3 ATS and 3-7 ATS over its last 10 games. The Dolphins couldn’t even cover as 13-point home underdogs against Kansas City last week, losing by 14.

NFL Player Odds and Props

Minnesota Vikings

RB Aaron Jones has carried the load with Jordan Mason on injured reserve, rushing for 203 yards and a touchdown on 52 carries. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice for workload management, but his rushing total sits at 70.5 against a Dolphins defence that is allowing 28.7 points per game. His anytime TD odds are -125.

Miami Dolphins

Malik Washington has been one of the few bright spots in Miami’s offence, ranking among the NFL’s top three in all-purpose yards through three weeks. He caught five passes for 56 yards against the Chiefs, and with Achane out for the season, he should see even more touches. His anytime TD odds sit at +240.

Miami Dolphins

Malik Willis has thrown just one touchdown pass through three games and was sacked nine times in the first two. Miami’s only touchdowns have come on a Willis scramble, a 77-yard catch by Ryan Miller and an Ollie Gordon II run. To their credit, the Dolphins pushed the Chiefs, as Willis led a 17-play, 91-yard touchdown drive right after Achane went down.

The bigger issue is the defence. Miami is the only team in the league without a sack, and it has allowed 28.7 points per game. Gordon and Jaylen Wright (foot) now take over the backfield, while EDGE Rob Beal Jr. (hamstring) and WR Caleb Douglas (ankle) missed Wednesday’s practice.

Minnesota Vikings

Kevin O’Connell’s team is winning with defence and special teams. Minnesota has allowed just 13.7 points per game and three offensive touchdowns all season, and its 14 sacks lead the NFL after it took down Baker Mayfield six times on Sunday. Brian Flores’ unit has also forced six takeaways, and Reichard has now made 26 straight field goals, cementing himself as one of the league’s most-consistent kickers.

The offence is the concern. Kyler Murray went 15-of-29 for 168 yards with a TD and an INT in his first full game back from a concussion, and WR Justin Jefferson (ankle) missed Wednesday’s practice after leaving Sunday’s game in the first quarter. O’Connell called him day-to-day. If Jefferson can’t go, Jordan Addison, who caught a 41-yard touchdown in Tampa, becomes Murray’s top target.
