Dolphins vs. Jets Point Spread: NFL Week 14 Odds, Prediction
The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets are both playing their best football of the 2025/26 season. The two teams meet up for the second time this season, this time at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET.
Miami has completely changed its persona on offence while winning three straight to improve to 5-7. De’Von Achane rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown in a 21-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Achane has tallied 142.7 yards per game during this three-game win streak.
Tyrod Taylor threw for 172 yards and a touchdown and added 44 yards and one score on the ground as the Jets defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 27-24, on a 56-yard field goal by Nick Folk as time expired.
Achane rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown in a 27-21 triumph over the Jets earlier this season in Miami.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The NFL odds board has the Dolphins listed as 3-point road favourites.
Miami is 2-3 against the spread on the road and 3-1 ATS against division foes. Meanwhile, the Jets are 7-3-1 against the spread as an underdog, including 3-2 ATS at home in that role.
The Dolphins have won eight times in the past 10 games in this series. Although Miami has played to the under in each of its last five games, these two teams have played to the over in four of their past five meetings.
Achane is currently listed at -115 to rush for more than 76.5 yards.
Miami Dolphins
Since dynamic and enigmatic wide receiver Tyreek Hill went down for the season, the Dolphins have struggled to nail down their offensive identity, but clarity has arrived over the past few weeks in Achane – who just topped 1,000 yards in a season for the first time in his career.
That’s a good thing, because Tua Tagovailoa has struggled this year. He has thrown for less than 200 yards seven times. Last time out, he went 12 for 23 for 157 yards and an interception. The team is 27th in the league in pass offence.
Defensively, Jordyn Brooks leads the NFL with 137 tackles.
New York Jets
At 0-7, New York was the league’s laughingstock. Coach Aaron Glenn looked one-and-done. However, New York has battled, and the well-traveled Taylor rewarded Glenn for his faith in him with his performance in the win over Atlanta last week.
Adonai Mitchell came to the Jets from Indianapolis in the trade for Sauce Gardner. The young wide receiver has loads of talent, but was known mostly for fumbling the ball out of the back of the end zone for a touchback earlier in the season and his dropped passes.
As a 2024 second-round pick out of Texas, Mitchell was considered a bust. Then he had a career-high eight catches and 102 yards while scoring his first touchdown in last week’s win over Atlanta. If Mitchell can complement Garrett Wilson and become a dependable No. 2 option for the Jets, he could easily be a steal.
Who Will Win Dolphins vs. Jets?
Both teams are battling for their embattled coaches, which is always a good sign. New York surrendered 167 yards on the ground last week to the Falcons, with Bijan Robinson totalling 193 yards from scrimmage – including 142 rushing.
Achane should put up similar numbers this week, and the Dolphins should benefit in a 24-21 Miami victory.
