Dolphins vs. Bills Point Spread: NFL Week 15 Odds, Prediction
In a unique twist in the schedule, these two teams AFC East rivals meet two times in the next two weeks, the first meeting being at Orchard Park. The Bills are hanging onto their slim playoffs hopes, while the Dolphins are looking to play the role of spoiler.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
This will be the first meeting of the season for these two AFC East rivals. Last year the Dolphins won both games by a total of three points in each game. Since the start of the 2014 season, both teams have won three games each. In the last four meetings the over is a perfect 4-0. Also, the Dolphins are 1-4 ATS in their last five meetings in Buffalo, while the home team in this series is 5-2 ATS in their last seven meetings.
Miami Dolphins
Running back Kenyon Drake is showing football fans why the Dolphins said good-bye to Jay Ajayi at the trade deadline, racing for 114 yards on 25 carries, plus five receptions for 79 yards. All this from a team that is ranked 28th in total offence (297.9), maybe the Dolphins are finally finding their groove? Defensively, this was a great game for the Dolphins, holding the Patriots running attack to just 25 total yards, and intercepting Tom Brady two times, while sacking him twice as well.
Buffalo Bills
It wasn’t pretty, but the Buffalo Bills kept their slim post season hopes alive last weekend with a 13-7 win over the Colts during a classic Western New York snow storm. Starter Nathan Peterman and Joe Webb passed for a grand total of 92 yards, while the real hero of the game was running back LeSean McCoy, as he raced for 156 yards on a whopping 32 carries, including the game winning touchdown. The Bills will have to figure out who their starting quarterback will be. At press time, Tyrod Taylor is still nursing an injury that saw him inactive for the game against the Colts, and in that game, Nathan Peterman left with a concussion. If both are unable to go Sunday, Joe Webb would make his first start of the NFL regular season.
