The Los Angeles Chargers are off to a disastrous 0-3 start to their 2026 campaign and adding insult to injury, they have to go on the road in Week 4 to face the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Seattle started its season 2-0 despite a hip injury sustained by quarterback Sam Darnold, but – even with Darnold back on the field – the Seahawks lost at Washington 33-31 this past Sunday.

Since their tenure as division rivals ended after the 2001 season when the Seahawks moved from the AFC to the NFC, these two teams have gone head-to-head just once every four years dating back to 2002. They most recently faced each other in 2022, when Seattle prevailed 37-23 in Los Angeles.

The game total is set at 43.5 points, with both the over and the under priced at -110. Dating back to last season, Los Angeles is 0-6 against the spread in its last six contests. NFL Player Odds and Props

Los Angeles Chargers Omarion Hampton – Under 45.5 rushing yards (-114) Hampton has rushed for 56 yards or fewer in two of three games this season, including 43 against Arizona in Week 1. The North Carolina product is averaging just 3.9 yards per carry. Backup running back Keaton Mitchell has gotten 17 carries in 2026 and is averaging 5.0 yards per attempt. It figures that

Mitchell will continue to share a significant part of the workload. They now have to face a Seattle defence that ranks sixth in the NFL against the run and third in yards per rush allowed (3.3). Seattle Seahawks

Sam Darnold – Over 230.5 passing yards (-114)

This is a favourable match for Darnold, as the Chargers rank No. 21 against the pass (233.0 yards per game allowed) and surrender 8.0 yards per attempt (seventh most in the league). By contrast, L.A. is holding opponents to 3.6 yards per carry. At least for the time being, the way to attack the Bolts is through the air. Darnold torched the Commanders for 379 yards last weekend and should only improve with a game under his belt following his hip injury.

Los Angeles Chargers

Relative to expectations, no team has been more disappointing than the Chargers in 2026. Head coach Jim Harbaugh’s squad was expected to be a playoff contender but remains one of five winless teams in the NFL following losses to the Cardinals, Raiders and Bills. Los Angeles was favoured at home over both Arizona and Las Vegas only to lose both of those games 26-14. Quarterback Justin Herbert is incurring much of the blame, having completed just 59.1 percent of his passes with more interceptions (four) than touchdowns (three). Of course, it’s not all his fault. L.A.’s running game has been mediocre at best, and injuries have decimated the offensive line.

Seattle Seahawks

Darnold should be able to pile on the Chargers’ woes this weekend, and he will have plenty of help in that effort. Star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has already scored six touchdowns to go along with 405 yards on 27 catches. Cooper Kupp got in on the fun last week, also finding the endzone at Washington’s expense. There are some injury issues worth noting in Seattle’s locker room. Running back Jadarian Price was limited in practice on Wednesday because of a chest issue and is listed as questionable. Left guard Grey Zabel, defensive end Jarran Reed and safeties Ty Okada and Julian Love are also questionable for Sunday.
