The Arizona Cardinals are set to take on the Seattle Seahawks in an NFC West rivalry matchup in Week 9 of the NFL season.

The Cardinals enter the contest at the bottom of the NFC West with a record of 3-5. On the other side, the Seahawks are 4-4 in second place in the division.

Arizona is coming off a wild 33-30 overtime victory over the Cowboys in Week 8. Seattle enters this one reeling a bit, having lost three of its last four games including a 34-17 defeat to the Bears on Monday night in Week 8.

The Seahawks have dominated this series in recent memory, winning the last 10 head-to-head matchups. Seattle won the most recent meeting between these teams 31-7 in Arizona on September 20, 2026.

NFL Player Odds and Props

Arizona Cardinals

Gardner Minshew is Arizona’s new QB1, and he has a tough assignment on his hands on the road against the Seahawks. Minshew was efficient last week by going 17-for-23 against Dallas, but his completion percentage could take a hit in this one.

Without Jeremiyah Love available, and with the possibility of playing from behind, Minshew could rack up the passing attempts. His passing attempts total sits at 34.5.

Seattle Seahawks

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is on an absolute heater right now. JSN has collected 100+ receiving yards in seven of eight games this season, and is averaging 126 receiving yards per game over his last four contests.

The Arizona defense is not strong against the pass, allowing 230.8 passing yards per game which ranks 24th in the league. Smith-Njigba’s receiving yards total for this game sits at 94.5.

Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals started the season with Jacoby Brissett as their QB1, but after his poor play, Arizona turned the reins of the offence over to Gardner Minshew last week against Dallas.

Minshew made the most of his opportunity, as he completed 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 188 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. He made several key throws down the stretch and in overtime to lead the Cardinals to an impressive road win.

Minshew is slated to start on Sunday against the Seahawks. He appears to be the guy moving forward, as Arizona traded Brissett to the Ravens this week.

Minshew has his work cut out for him in this one, as Seattle’s defense is allowing just 250 yards of total offence per game, which is the best mark in the NFL.

Seattle Seahawks

Coming off a Super Bowl title last season, the Seahawks have stumbled out of the gate this season with a 4-4 record. The defense remains elite, but the offence has struggled with consistency.

Sam Darnold has nearly as many interceptions (9) as touchdown passes (10), and the running game has not been the same without Kenneth Walker III in the mix. Seattle’s 109.6 rushing yards per game ranks 19th in the NFL, which is a decent step back from the 123.3 rushing yards per game they averaged last season.

Seattle made a big move by trading for 8x Pro Bowler and 3x First Team All-Pro Quenton Nelson to bolster the offensive line. Nelson made his debut with Seattle last week against the Bears.
