Buffalo Bills NFL Prediction: 2021 Season Betting Odds and Preview

It’s safe to say the Bills have the franchises best Quarterback under center since Jim Kelly. Josh Allen is coming off his best NFL season and the sky is the limit for one of the NFL’s young stars. Under Allen, the Bills offense set a franchise record for points scored (501) and averaged more than 31 points per game. Allen passed for 4,544 yards with 37 passing touchdowns and 46 total touchdowns in guiding the Bills to a 13-3 record; their first AFC East title in 25 years. It’s fair to say – as Allen goes, so do the Bills. Allen is currently listed at +1000 to win the regular season MVP award at Sports Interaction.

Buffalo Bills Acquisitions and Moves

Many critics will look at the Bills running game as a weakness, but perhaps a bigger concern is the team’s offensive line that protects their investment at Quarterback. That’s why it’s no surprise that the team drafted three offensive linemen with its first six selections including Jack Anderson (Texas Tech) with their first-round selection. The team also re-signed Tackle Daryl Williams who took over 96 percent of the team’s offensive snaps and only allowed three sacks. Allen has plenty of weapons including Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, free-agent Emmanuel Sanders who will replace John Brown and draft pick Marquez Stevenson.

Free agent Running back Matt Brieda (Miami Dolphins) will challenge Devin Singletary and Zack Moss but expect the Bills to look over the NFL at some possible running back castaways.

The Bills defence finished the 2020 season ranked 16th overall. The team did themselves a favour when they resigned linebacker Matt Milano to a four-year, 44 million dollar deal right before the start of free agency. The team added depth with the free agent signings of Defensive End Efe Obada and Outside Linebacker Tyrell Adams.

The Bills patiently continue to wait on Defensive End Ed Oliver. The 2019 first round pick hasn’t produced to the level the Bills expected. Could the 2021 be the year he breaks through?

Buffalo Bills 2021 NFL Schedule

The Bills’ strength of schedule for the upcoming season is ranked 10th-easiest in the NFL, based on their opponents’ winning percentage last season (.478). That’s good news for a team that won 13 games last season.

The Bills bye week this season falls on week 7 and that will be the line in the sand for this year’s team. The first six weeks will be tough on the Bills with games against the Titans, Chiefs, Washington and opening up the season home to the Steelers. Buffalo Bills 2021 Season Prediction

The Bills will get challenged by the upstart Miami Dolphins but should win the AFC East and challenge for the conference title. Currently, they are the second favourites to win the conference paying a respectable +552 to do so.  A decent flyer is the tasty +1000 you get now at SIA if you like the Bills to win the franchise’s first ever Vince Lombardi trophy. Mark the Bills down for a strong 12-6 season.
