Jameis Winston and Mike Evans, Tampa Bay, 2018

The Buccaneers have struggled against the Rams as of late, going 0-6 ATS in their last six games. But, maybe there is some hope as Tampa is 3-0-1 ATS on the road in their last four games.

Looks like the Rams have a couple of teams in the division to compete with as the 49ers are also perfect on the season and the Seahawks are only a game behind.

The Buccaneers had the perfect opportunity to improve their record to 2-1, but blew a last second chance last week.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Rams are 3-0 straight up, and also 3-0 against the spread this season. Since the 2012 season the Rams have won five straight against the Bucs entering this game. They are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games dating back to last season and 6-0 ATS in their last six games against NFC opponents. The Los Angeles Rams have won eight of their last nine home games.

The Bucs are 1-2 straight up and 1-2 ATS on the season. They have struggled against the Rams as of late, going 0-6 ATS in their last six games. But, maybe there is some hope as Tampa is 3-0-1 ATS on the road in their last four games. The Bucs only win of the season has come on the road this season; they are 0-2 on home turf.

New futures numbers posted at Sports Interaction have the Rams now listed as one of the favourites to win the Super Bowl at +700.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs will be kicking themselves this week after their loss to the Giants last week. Tampa was in full control of the game up 28-10 only to watch the lead evaporate and have the Giants leading 32-31 with seconds remaining. Kicker Matt Gay pushed a 34-yard field goal right to seal the Giants win.

Receiver Mike Evans went off against the Giants with eight receptions for 180 yards and three touchdowns.

Shaq Barrett had a career day versus the Giants recording four sacks. His three game total is now eight, which ties him with Mark Gastineau in 1984 for the most sacks by a player through the first three games.

Los Angeles Rams

Sitting comfortably at 3-0, the Rams are one of eight undefeated teams in the NFL, and are proving last year’s Super Bowl appearance was not a fluke.

The defence has only allowed 22 points against in the last two games.

After many questions about his health this off-season, Todd Gurley hasn’t exactly put the rumours to bed. In 2018, the star Running back rushed for 1251 yards and 17 touchdowns. This season Gurley has 44 carries for 203 yards and only one touchdown.

Receiver Cooper Kupp has been a welcome (back) addition, grabbing 23 balls for 268 yards. Between Kupp, Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks and Gerald Everett, Jared Goff has had plenty of solid options to throw to while Gurley gets back on track.

Speaking of Goff, he has completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 738 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. He has one or less touchdown passes in six of his last eight games.
