Browns WR Amari Cooper Questionable for Monday Night

Saturday’s practice didn’t end well for Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper. Late In the session, he aggravated his groin and is now listed as questionable for the club’s road game against the Steelers on Monday night.

Browns WR Amari Cooper Could Miss Steelers Game

This would be Cooper’s second significant injury in as many seasons. He required surgery during the offseason to repair an injury to his hip. There is no word as to how severe this new injury is, but his absence against the Steelers, in a pivotal divisional road contest, would be felt.

Of note, the odds have yet to shift. Cleveland was a -2 favourite earlier this week and still is as of Sunday morning.

Cooper wasn’t a huge fixture in the team’s 24-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, catching three passes on seven targets from Deshaun Watson for 37 yards. Then again, as fans will recall, that match was played in heavy rain.
