Denver Broncos
The Broncos must be kicking themselves after what happened to them last week in Minnesota.
First off, they held a 20-0 lead at halftime, and then a 23-7 at the end of three quarters, only to
watch the Vikings score 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win the game.
This was the first time in five years that an NFL team won after trailing by 20 or more points
after two quarters. The Broncos even had a last chance opportunity in the fourth quarter and
blew that as well. With the team on the Vikings four yard line with 10 seconds remaining, they
were stopped three straight times and lost.
The Broncos have lost three of their last four games. There was some talk that this game could
mark the debut of second round pick Drew Lock, but that seems likely for this game against the
Bills.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills are sitting pretty with a 7-3 record and only six games left in the season. The problem
is four out of the six games are against teams with plus .500 records. However, the Denver
Broncos are not one of those teams, and they are this week’s opposition.
The Bills are coming off an offensive outburst racking up a season-high 37 points and 424 total
net yards in their second win against the Dolphins this season. Quarterback Josh Allen had one
of his best games of the season going 21-of-33 for 256 yards and three touchdowns. He also
ran for 56 yards on seven carries, which is a season high.
Rookie Devin Singletary had his second-best rushing game of the season, motoring for 75 yards
on 15 carries. The Bills would like to build up the amount of carries for him. In seven games he
only has 63 carries for an average of nine per game.
