Broncos vs. Bills Point Spread: MNF Week 10 Odds, Prediction
The Broncos face a challenge in Week 10 when they visit the very strong Buffalo Bills, who are -7.5 on the NFL odds.

Monday Night Football Point Spread and Betting Analysis
After last season’s disaster under then-Coach Nathaniel Hackett, who was fired before finishing the 2022 campaign, the Broncos this offseason traded for ex-New Orleans Saints Super Bowl-winning coach Sean Payton for a few draft picks. Payton is a fine coach, but he tends to self-congratulate himself often and not many other coaches around the NFL are upset that the team is struggling at 3-5.
Denver might have been a seller ahead of last week’s Trade Deadline had it not won its final two games entering the Week 9 bye. It’s really hard to know what this team is right now. Russell Wilson has been rather quiet in the two-game streak, and the defence has been tremendous. That same defence was historically bad earlier this season, including allowing 70 points on Sept. 24 in Miami.
Buffalo did make one move ahead of the Trade Deadline, acquiring cornerback Rasul Douglas from Green Bay. The Bills sent a 2024 third-round pick to the Packers for Douglas and a 2024 fifth-round pick. Buffalo need secondary help after losing former Pro Bowl corner Tre’Davious White for the season because of a torn right Achilles in Week 4.
Buffalo is 23-16-1 all-time vs. Denver including playoffs. They haven’t played since 2020.
Denver Broncos
In Weeks 2-5 this season, the Broncos allowed 35, 70, 28 and 31 points and won just one of those games. Since then, that defence has figured something out in allowing just 45 points in the past three games and Denver won the previous two. It snapped a 16-game losing streak to the Chiefs on Sunday, 24-9. Russell Wilson hasn’t been passing for many yards and had only 114 vs. Kansas City but three TD passes. His 16 touchdown passes rank fifth in the NFL, and he also is fifth in quarterback rating (101.7). Denver has stopped the run much better of late and been creating turnovers as the Chiefs had a whopping five of them. Patrick Mahomes had his first career game with three picks and no TDs. After allowing 219.3 rushing yards per game over Weeks 2-5, the Broncos have allowed fewer than 100 rushing yards in two of their last three games. In the red zone, Denver has held its opponents to three touchdowns in their last 16 opportunities dating back to Week 5. The Broncos should be about as healthy as possible this time of year with the week off.
Buffalo Bills
Buffalo has largely looked like one of the AFC’s worst teams this season when playing on the road or in London and like a top Super Bowl threat at home, where the Bills are 4-1. At home, Josh Allen has 13 TD passes to just three picks with a 117.5 rating compared to on the road where he has five TDs and six picks for a rating of 79.3. In Sunday’s 24-18 loss in Cincinnati, he rushed for a score and threw a TD pass but had an interception. Buffalo’s run game other than Allen was non-existent, and that has been a problem at times in 2023. The Bills defence is really starting to miss injured linebacker Matt Milano and cornerback Tre’Davious White, both possibly out for the year. Buffalo did not force a takeaway for a second straight week vs. Cincinnati and has forced only three in the in the last five games. Starting middle linebacker Terrel Bernard was knocked out of the Bengals game with a concussion. CB Christian Benford (hamstring), S Micah Hyde (stinger) and CB Dane Jackson (injury not specified) also got banged up in the loss.
