Bills vs. Patriots Point Spread: NFL Week 15 Odds, Prediction

The Patriots (11-2) have won 10 straight, including five in a row at Gillette Stadium. That streak includes a 23-20 victory over the Bills in Buffalo, which snapped the team’s 14-game home win streak.

Coming off a bye, New England has a chance to end Buffalo’s five-year reign as AFC East champs. Previously, the Patriots had won 11 straight and 16 of 17 division titles.

However, led by reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen, the Bills (9-4) are surging, having won 3 of 4. That includes a 39-34 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals last week, in which Buffalo overcame a 10-point, fourth-quarter deficit.

The Patriots stifled Buffalo’s top-ranked rushing offence earlier this season. Without disruptive end Milton Williams, and possibly leading sack man Harold Landry III, can the Pats do it again?

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

New England is 5-0 against the spread in its last five games against the Bills, and 9-2 ATS when both teams are coming off a win. Moreover, the Patriots are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games.

Drake Maye is +115, and Allen is +130 to throw for more than 250 yards. Both MVP hopefuls accomplished that goal in the first meeting in early October.

Buffalo Bills

Allen reminded everyone why he is the reigning MVP when he became the first person in NFL history to record three straight seasons with 20 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing TDS in the same year. He also became the first player in league history to have 50 games with both a rushing and passing TD in last week’s win over the Bengals.

However, it’s his backfield mate, James Cook III, that bears watching the most. Cook is second in the league with 1,308 yards rushing, but he was held to 49 yards on 15 carries against New England in Week 5.

That was one of just three games this season in which Cook totalled less than 100 yards from scrimmage. The Bills lost all three of those games.

New England Patriots

Without Williams, and with Landry III limited in practice so far this week, will New England be able to temper the Bills’ running game and force three turnovers again?

Maye continues to check all the boxes on offence, even without left tackle Will Campbell. Despite being sacked 40 times, Maye is still completing 71.5% of his passes, and his 8.8 yards-per-pass average is second in the league.

It’s strength against strength on Sunday. The Bills’ No. 1 running offence goes against New England’s third-ranked run defence, and the Pats’ second-ranked passing offence matches up against Buffalo’s second-ranked pass defence.

NFL Prediction: Who Will Win Bills vs. Patriots?

This should be the game of the week. The Patriots want the AFC East back. Buffalo won’t give it up without a fight. New England’s sterling record has been downplayed due to its easy schedule. The win earlier this season at Buffalo is the team’s high water-mark… until Sunday.

Look for New England to sweep the season series and clinch its first division crown since 2019 with a 31-28 victory.
