The 10-3 Bills are coming off a massive win on Sunday night football. They open as 6-point favourites on the NFL odds with a total of 48.

NFL Week 15 Point Spread and Betting Analysis

It actually looks like it will be pretty nice in Denver, which is rather unusual at this time of year. Then again, if any team would be comfortable playing in wintry conditions it would be Buffalo.

On paper, this should be a mismatch as the Bills are fighting for their first AFC East title since 1995 and high playoff seed in the conference, while the Broncos are finishing off another disappointing season and could make both a coach and starting quarterback change in the offseason. However, it could be a trap game for Buffalo off one of its biggest home games in years on Sunday night against Pittsburgh.

The Bills have covered the spread in eight of the past 10 meetings vs. the Broncos, including in a 20-3 home victory in Week 12 last year.  Josh Allen threw for two scores – Buffalo did most of its damage on the ground with 244 yards rushing on 47 carries. Current Broncos starting QB Drew Lock had yet to make his NFL debut and it was Brandon Allen (now with Bengals) under centre that day. He was terrible as Denver totalled 134 yards and nine first downs.

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo won its third straight game Sunday night, 26-15, over the visiting Steelers and is on the precipice of winning the AFC East. The Bills still have an outside shot at the conference’s top seed, too, but that’s not very likely. Allen threw for 238 yards and two scores vs. the Steelers despite a very quiet first half when the Buffalo offence managed only 102 yards and six first downs. Allen now has 35 total touchdowns this year (passing, rushing and even one receiving), a franchise record.

Stefon Diggs caught 10 passes for 130 yards and a TD and now leads the NFL with 100 catches. The Bills are 5-0 ATS in their past five.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos played one of their best games of the season and Lock perhaps the game of his young career Sunday in a 32-27 upset win at Carolina. Lock threw a career-high four TD passes with only six incompletions and no picks. Rookie wideout KJ Hamler caught two of those TD throws. Left tackle Garett Bolles felt ill Sunday morning and didn’t play, and tight end Noah Fant left in the first quarter with an illness and didn’t return. Rapid COVID-19 tests came back negative, but that’s obviously something to monitor. The Broncos are 1-5 ATS in their past six after a win.
