Bears vs. Eagles Point Spread: NFL Week 13 Odds, Prediction
Chicago comes in having won eight of their last nine games, including four straight by five points or less. The Bears continued their success in tight contests by holding off the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-28.
Meanwhile, the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles blew a 21-point lead for the first time in 26 years, losing to the Dallas Cowboys 24-21 on a field goal as time expired. The Bears need to continue showing they can beat some of the better teams in the league. The Eagles need to find out what’s wrong with running back Saquon Barkley and fast.
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Bears are 8-1 straight up and 7-2 against the spread in their last nine games. They are 4-2 straight up and ATS on the road. Chicago has lost six straight against the Eagles.
Philadelphia is 4-1 against the spread in its last five games, and 3-2 ATS at home. Philly QB Jalen Hurts has eight rushing touchdowns this season, including three over the past two weeks. He is currently listed at +625 to score the first touchdown on Sunday, and -110 to find the end zone at any time.
Chicago Bears
The Bears hung on against a Steelers team without starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who was sidelined with a broken left hand. Caleb Williams threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns against the league’s worst pass defence coming in.
The second-year quarterback’s numbers aren’t eye-popping. He is completing just 59.2% of his passes for 2,568 yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s also only thrown four interceptions. Coach Ben Johnson is sacrificing some of Williams’ big-play ability to limit unnecessary mistakes.
Chicago’s second-ranked rushing offence has allowed Johnson to be careful with Williams, but backs D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai have suffered production-wise recently. Swift rushed for a season-low 15 yards against the Steelers and hasn’t scored a touchdown since October.
Monangai did score for the third straight game, but he has only 99 rushing yards in three games since exploding for 176 against Cincinnati.
Philadelphia Eagles
Talk in recent weeks has revolved around several players’ distaste for the team’s offence, most notably Hurts’ work under centre. However, a major red flag continues to go relatively unnoticed in the backfield.
Saquon Barkley’s production has fallen off a cliff compared to last year. Through 11 games in the 2024-25 season, Barkley had seven 100-yard rushing games, 1,392 yards and 10 touchdowns. This season, he is averaging just 3.7 yards per carry while rushing for 684 yards and four touchdowns. In fact, he hasn’t scored in five of the Eagles’ last six games.
NFL Prediction: Who Will Win Bears vs. Eagles?
The Eagles are 7-2 in one-score games. Chicago is 6-1. Something has to give, but we can expect another tight contest. Ultimately Philadelphia should prevail at Lincoln Financial Field, where the Eagles have won 15 of their last 16 games. But look for the Bears to cover as a seven-point underdog in a 21-17 Eagles victory.
