For three glorious weeks, Miami fans believed their team was the new king of the AFC East. Reality set in and the Dolphins are back in their rightful place. The Chicago Bears hope to avoid the same fate by continuing their winning ways when they visit south Florida on Sunday.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Chicago opened as a 3-point road favourite at Sports Interaction with the juice at -110 to back the NFC North squad. The spread is staying put at the field goal, but the juice has dropped 10 cents in favour of Chicago bettors.

The Bears are coming off a 48-10 thrashing of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and are 3-1 straight up and against the spread on the campaign. The 48-point outburst doubled Chicago’s previous high in points scored. The Over is 2-2 in Chicago’s games this season.

Miami lost 27-17 at Cincinnati last weekend and has been outscored 65-24 by its opponents in the last two games. The Dolphins dropped to 3-2 SU and ATS after beginning the season a perfect 3-0 (SU and ATS).

The total for this game opened as high as 44 but SIA waited and posted an Over/Under line of 41.5. The Under is 6-1 in the Bears’ last seven away contests and 8-2 in their last 10 games overall. Close to 75 percent of Sports Interaction bettors like the Bears to cover as 3-point road favourites this weekend.

Chicago Bears

The Monsters of Midway finally have a defence to be feared again. The addition of linebacker Khalil Mack has put a real bite in Chicago’s stopper unit. The Bears are allowing just 16.3 points per game and they trail only the Jacksonville Jaguars for yards allowed per game.

Quarterback Mitch Trubisky is the story in Bears camp right now after his breakout performance last weekend. The second-year starter collected an eye-popping six TD tosses against the Bucs and he completed 19 of his 26 pass attempts for 354 yards.

Miami Dolphins

Miami’s signal-caller isn’t enjoying the same type of success right now. Ryan Tannehill has just 285 passing yards with one touchdown against three interceptions over his last two games. The Dolphins are 29th in the league in third down conversion percentage at 30.9.

The Fish are reeling right now with back-to-back devastating losses. First an embarrassing 38-7 smashing at the hands of division bully New England and the Bengals piled on to the misery by scoring 27 unanswered points against Miami last weekend.
