The NFL preseason odds for this game are extremely tight. The favourite for this game is the home team, the Kansas City Chiefs, who likely get the nod on their own turf. They are a -1.5 point favourite (-110), with money line odds of (-130). Can the young Chicago Bears enter Arrowhead Stadium and close their preseason with a win at (+110) money line odds?
As for the game totals, they are the highest out of any matchup in the league. The total is 42 points, which is the only total set in the 40s. This is because the Chiefs defense has been very penetrable in their two games (26.5 PPG allowed), while the Bears offense has been elite (31 PPG).

Kansas City Chiefs
It has been a rough go for Kansas City during the 2025 preseason. They have lost both games and have been outscored 53-33. This is no major shock, as we have barely seen their starters hit the field. For example, Patrick Mahomes has attempted one pass, and of course, it was a touchdown.
Kansas City has not been a preseason organization lately by any means. They haven’t won a preseason game since 2023, losing their last five. While they are 0-2 thus far, there is no panic for this team, which has made five of the past Super Bowls, winning three of them. It will be interesting to see if they can end this losing streak.
NFL Preseason: Who Will Win Bears vs. Chiefs?
As mentioned, Kansas City has lost five consecutive preseason games. Their real success has proven these results do not matter, but I believe Andy Reid and his team are entering this one hungry for a win in front of their home crowd before really kicking things off.
Chicago has been excellent this preseason, but in this final game for each team before the regular season, we will see more accurate teams hit the field. Kansas City boasts the better squad, and depending on how long the starters play, they can reap the rewards.
