Josh Allen Over 281.5 passing + rushing yards

Through two playoff games this year, Josh Allen has two passing TDs and two rushing TDs. That’s a great representation of how the Bills QB can beat you in the air or on the ground. He’ll need to do both to avoid falling to 0-4 in his playoff career against Patrick Mahomes.

If the Bills have a shot at knocking Mahomes and the Chiefs off their pedestal, it will take a blend of Allen’s passing talent with the threat of his rushing attack. Give me the Over on his combined passing and rushing yards in the AFC Championship Game.

Allen has topped 281 passing and rushing yards nine times this year, including in a Week 11 win over Kansas City in which he finished with 262 passing yards and 55 rushing yards. This is Allen and the Bills’ year.

Kareem Hunt Over 33.5 rushing yards

I’m definitely locking in the Over on Kareem Hunt’s rushing yards total on Sunday. He’s finished with more than 33 rushing yards in three of his last four games, including 44 last week against Houston, and he’s topped the number 11 times this year during the regular season and playoffs.

Most importantly, Hunt is getting touches. Isiah Pacheco is technically listed first on Kansas City’s depth chart, but last week he struggled to get anything going on the ground and the Chiefs pivoted to give Hunt three more carries than Pacheco.

Honestly, I expect both Hunt and Pacheco to have good numbers against the Bills. It will be another cold weather game and we just saw how Buffalo struggled to defend against the run last week.

Patrick Mahomes Under 254.5 passing yards

You can call me a Debbie Downer, but I’m over seeing Kansas City and the Swifties in the playoffs. I think this is the most vulnerable the Chiefs have been in years and it all starts with Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes had the worst statistical year of his career in the regular season and his 177 passing yards and one TD last week against Houston didn’t do anything to give me faith he’s found a new gear in the playoffs.

This number is too big for Mahomes as he’s only averaging just over 241 passing yards per game this season. Mahomes has thrown for more than 254 yards in just eight of 17 appearances, and he only had 196 in Week 11 against Buffalo. Add in the cold weather factor and it’s a slam-dunk to fade Mahomes this week.
