2025 NFL Futures: Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl odds plummet after falling to 1-3

NFL Week 4 is in the books, and it was another fabulous weekend of football. We saw several important games shake up the standings, including the Rams rallying to knock off the Colts in dramatic fashion, the Giants upsetting the Chargers and the Chiefs rolling through the Ravens to send Baltimore to 1-3 on the season.

There were plenty of takeaways from Week 4 that impacted the NFL futures markets. What happened to the Super Bowl oddsboard, and who is in pole position in the player awards markets?

Let’s get into it.

How did the Super Bowl odds change?

  • Buffalo Bills (+375)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (+650)
  • Green Bay Packers (+750)
  • Detroit Lions (+800)
  • Kansas City Chiefs (+950)
  • Baltimore Ravens (+1000)
  • Los Angeles Chargers (+1600)
  • Los Angeles Rams (+1600)
  • San Francisco 49ers (+2000)
  • Washington Commanders (+2500)
  • Denver Broncos (+3000)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3000)
  • Indianapolis Colts (+4000)
  • Seattle Seahawks (+4000)

Like the last few weeks, the Bills sit atop the Super Bowl oddsboard following their win over the Saints, while the Ravens’ odds have taken a significant hit after losing to the Chiefs and suffering more injuries on defence. The biggest mover was the Chargers, as Jim Harbaugh’s team lost to the lowly Giants in a game that revealed Los Angeles’ massive weaknesses on the offensive line.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Colts have tumbled down to +4000 following a loss to the Rams in the final minutes. Finally, the Jaguars’ odds are only sitting at +5000 despite the fact that Jacksonville is 3-1 and just knocked off the 49ers on the road.

How did the player awards odds change?

For the fourth consecutive week, there was a massive shift in the MVP market following Week 4. After Lamar Jackson and the Ravens were thoroughly outplayed by the Chiefs on Sunday, Josh Allen is now a massive favourite for the award at +110 odds. Elsewhere, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is now priced at +700 in the market following a loss against the Giants, while Jalen Hurts has risen to +1400 after the Eagles’ victory over the Buccaneers.

Elsewhere, we had a massive move in the Offensive Player of the Year market, as Puka Nacua is now the current favourite for the award at +275. The Coach of the Year favourite for the third straight week is Colts head coach Shane Steichen at +450 odds, while Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is the new favourite for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Best NFL futures bet to lock in right now: Kansas City Chiefs to win AFC West (+150)

So far, my futures portfolio in this column looks strong, as my Rams to win the NFC West bet certainly holds value heading into Week 5. This week, I’m going to target the Chiefs to win the AFC West now that we’re getting Kansas City at plus-money odds for this wager. This is partially a bet on the Chiefs, who appear to have fixed some of their issues on offence following the return of Xavier Worthy to the lineup this past week. Kansas City will also have Rashee Rice returning to the lineup in two weeks’ time, when it could be the favourite in the division by then.

This wager is also somewhat of a fade of the Chargers, a good team that is unfortunately becoming ravaged by injuries, particularly on the offensive line. Los Angeles has a number of tricky games coming up on the schedule, including matchups against the Colts, Vikings, Steelers and Jaguars, teams that have the capability to disrupt Justin Herbert with their pass rush. Kansas City could be favoured in this market in a few week’s time, so let’s back the Chiefs while we still can.
