2024 NFL Odds and Betting Power Ranking – Week 4

The Buffalo Bills maintain their perch atop the NFL Betting Power rankings after another dominating performance in NFL Week 3, while the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers make major gains in the wake of impressive 3-0 starts. Injuries have devastated the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins while the Jacksonville Jaguars continue their steady freefall down the rankings following yet another loss.

Here are the NFL Betting Power Rankings for Week 4.

  1. Buffalo Bills
    SU:  3-0

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W3

Super Bowl Odds: +800

Last week’s ranking: 1

Notes: With Josh Allen flashing NFL MVP form, the Bills have averaged over 37 points per game during a dominating 3-0 run to start the season.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs
    SU:  3-0

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W3

Super Bowl Odds: +425

Last week’s ranking: 3

Notes: The Chiefs remained perfect with last weekend’s 22-17 win in Atlanta but have claimed victory by an average margin of just 4.3 points during their 3-0 start.

  1. New York Jets
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W2

Super Bowl Odds: +1600

Last week’s ranking: 12

Notes: The Jets have won two straight and their only loss came against an elite 49ers unit that hadn’t yet been bit by the injury bug. Aaron Rodgers turned back the clock last week and he’s primed to tear apart Denver at home in Week 4.

  1. Minnesota Vikings
    SU:  3-0

ATS: 3-0

Streak: W3

Super Bowl Odds: +3000

Last week’s ranking: 14

Notes: The Vikings continued to silence the critics with a stunning 34-7 upset victory over the Texans last week, and have quickly become the darling at the sportsbooks while outscoring opponents by a 85-30 margin during a sensational 3-0 start.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +1200

Last week’s ranking: 7

Notes: The Eagles leveraged stout defence to shut down the Saints’ vaunted attack in last weekend’s 15-12 win but have been far from a dominant ATS bet with their first three games getting settled by a combined margin of just nine points.

  1. Green Bay Packers
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W2

Super Bowl Odds: +2000

Last week’s ranking: 10

Notes: The Packers had no problem disposing of inferior opponents in wins over the Titans and Colts, even without injured quarterback Jordan Love, but face a tougher test in Week 4 versus the Vikings.

  1. Baltimore Ravens
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +1400

Last week’s ranking: 13

Notes: The Ravens overcame a pair of heartbreaking losses to the Chiefs and Raiders with a lopsided victory in Dallas last weekend. However, they should expect their stiffest challenge to date in this weekend’s clash with the Bills on Sunday Night Football.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers
    SU:  3-0

ATS: 3-0

Streak: W3

Super Bowl Odds: +3500

Last week’s ranking: 15

Notes: The Steelers have yet to figure out how to produce consistently on offence. But this team currently sports the NFL’s top defence, which has limited opponents to just 8.3 points per game during an impressive 3-0 start that extends their current regular season SU and ATS win streak to six games.

  1. Detroit Lions
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +1200

Last week’s ranking: 5

Notes: The Lions got back on track with last week’s 20-13 win over Arizona, but their failure to turn in full 60-minute performances should give sports bettors pause.

  1. Houston Texans
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 0-2-1

Streak: L1

Super Bowl Odds: +1200

Last week’s ranking: 2

Notes: The Texans came out on the wrong end of the weekend’s biggest upset in Week 3, falling 34-7 to Minnesota but have a chance to hit the reset button this weekend vs the Jags.

  1. Seattle Seahawks
    SU:  3-0

ATS: 1-1-1

Streak: W3

Super Bowl Odds: +4000

Last week’s ranking: 18

Notes: The Seahawks have marched to a 3-0 start for the second time in five years, posting narrow wins over the Broncos and Patriots before routing the Tua-less Dolphins last weekend. However, that relatively easy stretch ends with a clash against Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

  1. Los Angeles Chargers
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: L1

Super Bowl Odds: +5000

Last week’s ranking: 9

Notes: The Chargers got a taste of their own medicine in last weekend’s 20-10 loss to the defence-first Steelers. LA has shown improvement over last year’s lost season thanks to a sturdy defence, but offence remains a work in progress.

  1. New Orleans Saints
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: L1

Super Bowl Odds: +3500

Last week’s ranking: 11

Notes: After opening the season with back-to-back high-scoring performances, the Saints offence hit a wall in last weekend’s 15-12 loss to the Eagles. Which version of this team will show up this weekend in Atlanta?

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: L1

Super Bowl Odds: +5000

Last week’s ranking: 6

Notes: The Buccaneers received a reality check in last weekend’s 26-7 loss to Denver, and must now find a way to rebound in this weekend’s NFC wild card rematch with the Eagles.

  1. Washington Commanders
    SU:  2-1

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W2

Super Bowl Odds: +10000

Last week’s ranking: 28

Notes: Jayden Daniels enjoyed a breakthrough performance while leading the Commanders to last weekend’s 38-33 win in Cincinnati. The victory snaps a seven-game slide. However, the Commanders need to do more to win over fickle sports bettors after covering the spread just twice in their past 12 contests.

  1. Arizona Cardinals
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 2-1

Streak: L2

Super Bowl Odds: +8000

Last week’s ranking: 28

Notes: The Cardinals came up in a defensive struggle with the Lions last weekend, which also snapped a 4-0 ATS run. The Cards are quickly shaking their tag as NFC doormats and could provide great value options on the NFL odds thanks to a somewhat favourable upcoming schedule

  1. Dallas Cowboys
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: L2

Super Bowl Odds: +2200

Last week’s ranking: 8

Notes: The Cowboys’ early-season woes continued in a 28-25 loss to the Ravens that was nowhere nearly as close as the score suggests. Cowboys have now scored just one touchdown outside of garbage time during a brutal 0-2 run.

  1. San Francisco 49ers
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: L2

Super Bowl Odds: +700

Last week’s ranking: 4

Notes: Injuries are taking their toll on the 49ers. Following consecutive road losses in Minnesota and Los Angeles, the Niners are now under pressure to rebound in upcoming home dates with the Patriots and Cardinals.

  1. Denver Broncos
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +30000

Last week’s ranking: 29

Notes: Buoyed by a breakthrough performance by rookie pivot Bo Nix and a stingy defence, the Broncos shocked the Buccaneers in last weekend’s 26-7 victory. Overall, this team has shown steady improvement in 2024, but posting consecutive road wins for the first time since September 2021 will be a challenge when they visit the New York Jets on Sunday.

  1. Atlanta Falcons
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: L1

Super Bowl Odds: +4000

Last week’s ranking: 17

Notes: Even with Kirk Cousins under centre, steady offensive production has eluded the Falcons, who have scored just two touchdowns after halftime during a disappointing 1-2 SU start.

  1. Indianapolis Colts
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 2-1

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +10000

Last week’s ranking: 27

Notes: The Colts eked out their first win of the season, covering as 1.5-point chalk in a 21-16 victory in Chicago. Indianapolis has failed to claim consecutive wins during a dismal 3-5 SU and ATS run, but is a respectable 4-2 in six home dates.

  1. Chicago Bears
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-1-1

Streak: L2

Super Bowl Odds: +10000

Last week’s ranking: 20

Notes: With Caleb Williams still trying to find his legs as an NFL quarterback, the Bears attack has sputtered in back-to-back losses. However, a steady defence and the chance to play their next two games at home, where they are enjoying a 6-0 SU, 5-1 ATS run, could serve as a tonic.

  1. Los Angeles Rams
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +6600

Last week’s ranking: 25

Notes: The Rams shook off a brutal 0-2 start with a sensational fourth-quarter double-digit comeback in last weekend’s win over the beleaguered 49ers. However, the continued absence of receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua adds to the challenge of ending a two-game road slide when they visit the stingy Bears in Week 4.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals
    SU:  0-3

ATS: 1-2

Streak: L3

Super Bowl Odds: +2500

Last week’s ranking: 19

Notes: Another year, another slow start for the winless Bengals. This team has now lost five of six overall and seven of their past 10 on the road ahead of this weekend’s visit to Carolina.

  1. New England Patriots
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-1-1

Streak: L2

Super Bowl Odds: +30000

Last week’s ranking: 24

Notes: The Patriots turned heads with an impressive performance while opening the season with a win over Cincinnati and following up with an overtime loss to Seattle, but were handed a harsh reality check in last week’s 24-3 loss to the Jets. Could the move to Drake Maye under centre provide a spark this weekend versus the slumping Niners?

  1. New York Giants
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +30000

Last week’s ranking: 31

Notes: The Giants picked up just their second win in seven games last weekend in Cleveland but have managed to pay out against the spread in seven of their past 10.

  1. Carolina Panthers
    SU: 1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: W1

Super Bowl Odds: +75000

Last week’s ranking: 32

Notes: With veteran Andy Dalton under centre, the Panthers turned in their strongest performance in almost two years last weekend, rolling to a 36-22 rout in Las Vegas. A visit from the winless Bengals on Sunday gives this team a chance to record consecutive SU and ATS victories for the first time since December 2022.

  1. Las Vegas Raiders
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 1-2

Streak: L1

Super Bowl Odds: +15000

Last week’s ranking: 21

Notes: The afterglow of a 26-23 upset win over the Ravens in Week 2 didn’t last long. The Raiders followed up by falling flat in a 36-22 loss to the Panthers featuring bad performances on both sides of the ball that ended a three-game ATS unbeaten streak at home.

  1. Miami Dolphins
    SU:  1-2

ATS: 0-3

Streak: L2

Super Bowl Odds: +6600

Last week’s ranking: 23

Notes: The Dolphins dramatically felt the impact of Tua Tagovailoa’s absence in last weekend’s 24-3 loss in Seattle. The Miami offence has managed to drive into the red zone on just three occasions since Tua left the team’s Week 2 loss to Buffalo, compiling just 205 yards of total offence in last week’s loss to the Seahawks.

  1. Cleveland Browns
    SU:  0-3

ATS: 1-2

Streak: L3

Super Bowl Odds: +6600

Last week’s ranking: 22

Notes: Presented with a golden opportunity snap out of their early-season funk, the Browns fell flat in last weekend’s embarrassing loss to the Giants. Cleveland has now tallied just 15 total points after recess in the past two weeks and rank 25th in the league in offence.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars
    SU:  0-3

ATS: 1-2

Streak: L3

Super Bowl Odds: +10000

Last week’s ranking: 26

Notes: Things went from bad to worse for the Jaguars with last weekend’s demoralizing 47-10 loss to Buffalo. The Jags have covered just twice while losing eight of nine and sport the NFL’s 30th ranked offence and 28th-ranked defence heading into Sunday’s visit to Houston.

  1. Tennessee Titans
    SU:  0-3

ATS: 0-3

Streak: L3

Super Bowl Odds: +30000

Last week’s ranking: 30

Notes: The Titans have lost by an average margin of 10 points during an 0-3 start. The Titans will play six of their next nine games on the road, where they have lost 11 of 12. However, that run starts in Miami on Sunday against a Dolphins squad in disarray.
