2023 NFL Week 10: Power Rankings
Here are the NFL Betting Power Rankings for Week 10.
Week 10 Power Rankings
1. Jacksonville Jaguars
SU: 6-2
ATS: 6-2
Super Bowl Odds: +1800
Last week’s ranking: 1
The Jaguars return from a Week 9 bye on a five-game straight up against the spread win streak, and can bolster their position as legit Super Bowl contenders with a win over San Francisco on Sunday.
2. Baltimore Ravens
SU: 7-2
ATS: 6-3
Super Bowl Odds: +900
Last week’s ranking: 2
The Ravens have topped 30 points in each of their victories during their current 3-0 run, and have emerged as a defensive force while holding opponents to single digits in two of those contests.
3. Detroit Lions
SU: 6-2
ATS: 6-2
Super Bowl Odds: +1400
Last week’s ranking: 3
The Lions went into last weekend’s bye at just the right time. With a week off to heal, the Lions are now poised to extend their lead atop the NFC North with a fifth straight win.
4. Kansas City Chiefs
SU: 7-2
ATS: 6-3
Super Bowl Odds: +475
Last week’s ranking: 7
The Chiefs rebounded from their stunning upset loss to Denver with a statement win over Miami last weekend in Germany. After enjoying a bye this week, the Chiefs will have a chance to prove they deserve to still be considered Super Bowl favourites when they face Philadelphia in Week 11 in a rematch of last season’s Super Sunday matchup.
5 Philadelphia Eagles
SU: 8-1
ATS: 5-2-2
Super Bowl Odds: +500
Last week’s ranking: 5
The Eagles silenced naysayers questioning their ability to win the big game with last weekend’s 28-23 win over Dallas. The Eagles continue to lead the league with an 8-1 SU record, but have frustrated loyal sports bettors while failing to cover in consecutive outings during a 10-game run that started with last season’s Super Bowl.
6. Cincinnati Bengals
SU: 5-3
ATS: 4-3-1
Super Bowl Odds: +1000
Last week’s ranking: 8
The Bengals have buried their early-season woes in convincing fashion during a 4-0 run that has featured wins over San Francisco and Buffalo over the past two weeks. However, a grueling schedule awaits, featuring upcoming dates with Houston, Baltimore, and Jacksonville.
7. Miami Dolphins
SU: 6-3
ATS: 6-3
Super Bowl Odds: +1200
Last week’s ranking: 4
The Dolphins enter their Week 10 bye in sole possession of first place in the AFC North. However, the Dolphins have lost two of their past three, and have seen each of their three defeats to date come against legitimate playoff contenders.
8. Dallas Cowboys
SU: 5-3
ATS: 5-3
Super Bowl Odds: +1200
Last week’s ranking: 6
If the Cowboys could perform on the road they way they do at home, they would top these rankings. But with SU and ATS wins in just five of 13 away dates, the Cowboys are quickly establishing themselves as a one-dimensional bet.
9. Los Angeles Chargers
SU: 4-4
ATS: 4-4
Super Bowl Odds: +3300
Last week’s ranking: 13
The Chargers offence has started to click after a slow start, scoring 28.5 points per game during a 2-0 SU and ATS run. If the Chargers defence can maintain the form that has limited opponents to 17 or fewer points in four of five games, expect this team to continue to make gains in the rankings.
10. San Francisco 49ers
SU: 5-3
ATS: 4-4
Super Bowl Odds: +600
Last week’s ranking: 10
The 49ers entered their Week 9 bye on a rather stunning three-game losing streak. The bye came at an ideal time for a Niners squad battered by injuries. However, their health will be immediately put to the test in this weekend’s visit to Jacksonville, which precedes back-to-back road dates with Seattle and Philadelphia at the end of the month.
11. Seattle Seahawks
SU: 5-3
ATS: 4-3-1
Super Bowl Odds: +5000
Last week’s ranking: 9
The Seahawks’ road woes continued with last weekend’s embarrassing 37-3 loss in Baltimore, and have now failed to earn the ATS win in three of their past four contests.
12. Cleveland Browns
SU: 5-3
ATS: 4-3-1
Super Bowl Odds: +2800
Last week’s ranking: 18
The Browns beat up on the hapless Arizona Cardinals in Deshaun Watson’s return last weekend, rolling to a 27-0 win. The Browns have gone 2-1-1 ATS during an impressive 3-1 run despite being hampered by injuries. Cleveland counts Cincinnati and San Francisco among the top teams it has beaten this season, and have lots to prove in this weekend’s trip to Baltimore.
13. Houston Texans
SU: 4-4
ATS: 4-4
Super Bowl Odds: +15000
Last week’s ranking: 19
CJ Stroud has singlehandedly transformed the Texans from the NFL’s doormat to a playoff contender in his sensational NFL debut. However, this team still struggles on the road, and have yet to earn the respect of oddsmakers during their current resurgence.
14. Minnesota Vikings
SU: 5-4
ATS: 5-3-1
Super Bowl Odds: +15000
Last week’s ranking: 14
Josh Dobbs quickly made Vikings fans forget about injured quarterback Kirk Cousins with a sensational debut performance in last weekend’s 31-28 win over Atlanta, and will be looking to lead Minnesota to a fifth straight SU and ATS victory this weekend in New Orleans.
15. Denver Broncos
SU: 3-5
ATS: 2-5-1
Super Bowl Odds: +25000
Last week’s ranking: 15
The Broncos entered their Week 10 bye on a high after upsetting the hated Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago, and have now won and covered in two straight games. However, a Monday Night Football road date in Buffalo will determine whether this team has turned the corner.
16. New York Jets
SU: 4-4
ATS: 4-3-1
Super Bowl Odds: +10000
Last week’s ranking: 12
The Jets have proven their defence is among the best in the NFL. However, with Zach Wilson under center, the New York attack strikes fear into no one. New York ranks 30th in points scored, and has averaged just 13 points in their past three games. That is not enough to inspire sports bettor confidence ahead of upcoming road dates with Las Vegas and Buffalo.
17. Buffalo Bills
SU: 5-4
ATS: 3-6
Super Bowl Odds: +1600
Last week’s ranking: 11
The Bills’ vaunted offence has failed to produce during a middling 2-3 run in which they have failed to pay out against the spread. The health of Josh Allen and an underachieving backfield will be tested on Monday Night Football by the stingy defence of the resurgent Denver Broncos.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers
SU: 5-3
ATS: 5-3
Super Bowl Odds: +8000
Last week’s ranking: 17
The Steelers have now won and covered in five of seven despite scoring just 18 points per game over that stretch, and getting just two scoring passes out of Kenny Pickett over his past five games. But apart from visits to Cleveland and Cincinnati later this month, this team will continue to benefit from a favourable schedule.
19. Indianapolis Colts
SU: 4-5
ATS: 5-4
Super Bowl Odds: +20000
Last week’s ranking: 22
The Colts have no difficulty putting points on the score, and have averaged 30.7 points per game over their past three outings. However, Indy has also allowed 26.9 points per game this season, fourth worst in the NFL, and sport a 2-4 ATS record when the OVER pays out.
20. Tennessee Titans
SU: 3-5
ATS: 4-4
Super Bowl Odds: +25000
Last week’s ranking: 16
Will Levis received a harsh dose of reality in the wake of his historic NFL debut two weeks ago. Levis failed to find the end zone while leading the Titans to their 12th loss in 15 games last weekend in Pittsburgh. However, a three-game SU and ATS win streak at home buoys this team on the rankings, for now.
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
SU: 3-5
ATS: 5-3
Super Bowl Odds: +15000
Last week’s ranking: 23
Baker Mayfield and the Bucs have really deserved a better fate than what they have experienced during a four-game SU slide. That is reflected in the ATS wins they have earned in each of the past two weeks, and the combined margin of just 11 points they have lost by in their past three games.
22. Las Vegas Raiders
SU: 4-5
ATS: 4-5
Super Bowl Odds: +30000
Last week’s ranking: 29
The Raiders showed up to play for new head coach Antonio Pearce in last weekend’s 30-6 rout of the freefalling New York Giants. However, maintaining that level of scoring in their upcoming dates with the Jets, Miami, and Chiefs might be a lot to ask of a team that reached 20 points just once through their first eight games of the season.
23. New Orleans Saints
SU: 5-4
ATS: 2-6-1
Super Bowl Odds: +4000
Last week’s ranking: 26
Backed by the quarterback tandem of Derek Carr and Taysom Hill, the Saints have rediscovered their offensive groove during a two-game win streak, but have still managed to cover just twice in nine contests.
24. Washington Commanders
SU: 4-5
ATS: 4-4-1
Super Bowl Odds: +25000
Last week’s ranking: 27
The Commanders escaped with a 20-17 win over New England, but this team continues to be plagued by a lack of consistency, both on the field and at the sportsbook, where they have failed to cover in consecutive games while compiling a dismal 5-8-1 ATS record over their past 14 contests.
25. Green Bay Packers
SU: 3-5
ATS: 4-4
Super Bowl Odds: +20000
Last week’s ranking: 28
The Packers halted a four-game SU and ATS slide by beating up on the injury-ravaged Los Angeles Rams in last week’s 20-3 win. However, maintaining that momentum is likely to be a huge challenge as they prepare to face Pittsburgh, the Chargers, Detroit, and Kansas City over the next four weeks.
26. Los Angeles Rams
SU: 3-6
ATS: 4-4-1
Super Bowl Odds: +20000
Last week’s ranking: 21
With Matthew Stafford on the shelf with a thumb injury, the Rams bye in Week 10 could not have come at a better time. However, the Rams offence was struggling before Stafford was sidelined, scoring just 17.9 points while winning and covering just twice in their past seven games.
27. New England Patriots
SU: 2-7
ATS: 2-7
Super Bowl Odds: +75000
Last week’s ranking: 24
The Patriots have scored more than 17 points just once since their 25-20 season-opening loss to Philadelphia. New England reverted to its familiar slow-starting form in last week’s loss to Washington, and has scored an average of just 2.6 points in first-quarter action so far this season.
28. Atlanta Falcons
SU: 4-5
ATS: 2-7
Super Bowl Odds: +10000
Last week’s ranking: 20
Desmond Ridder is out, and Taylor Heinecke is in under centre, but the results have not changed. The Falcons were rocked for 29.5 points per game while losing their past two, and have covered just once in eight outings despite seeing each of their past five games settled by one score.
29. Chicago Bears
SU: 2-7
ATS: 3-5-1
Super Bowl Odds: +100000
Last week’s ranking: 25
Tyson Bagent has quickly faded since enjoying a brief moment in the sun in the Bears’ 30-12 win over Las Vegas three weeks ago, throwing just one TD pass while leading Chicago to two straight losses since. Bagent has a legit chance to turn things around in Thursday night’s date with Carolina, but the schedule beyond Week 10 does not favour this team, regardless of who is under centre.
30. Carolina Panthers
SU: 1-7
ATS: 1-6-1
Super Bowl Odds: +150000
Last week’s ranking: 30
The afterglow of their 15-113 win over Houston in Week 8 didn’t last long. The Panthers were shut down from the opening kickoff in last weekend’s 27-13 loss to Indianapolis, which also marked the fifth time they have lost by a double-digit margin so far this season.
31. Arizona Cardinals
SU: 1-8
ATS: 4-5
Super Bowl Odds: +150000
Last week’s ranking: 32
Hopes that Clayton Tune would emerge as the rookie saviour of this team in the wake of Josh Dobbs fell flat. With Tune under centre, the Cardinals mustered just 58 total yards of offence in last week’s 27-0 loss to Cleveland. While the imminent return of Kyler Murray is welcome, it is unlikely to be enough to save a team that has scored 10 or fewer points in three of their past four games, and has lost outright in 15 of their past 16.
32. New York Giants
SU: 2-7
ATS: 2-6-1
Super Bowl Odds: +100000
Last week’s ranking: 31
With the Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor both on the shelf with injuries, the Giants have been forced to turn the offence over to Tommy DeVito ahead of Sunday’s date in Dallas, in which New York is likely to hit the field as the biggest underdog of the season. The Giants have averaged just 10 points per game over their past seven outings, and have held a lead after halftime just twice over that stretch.
