Now one team is set to advance to the Sweet Sixteen as a lower-seed, thanks to Saint Peter’s Round of 64 upset.

Saint Peter’s vs. Murray St. NCAA Tournament Point Spread and Betting
Murray State’s win Thursday made it 21 in a row for the Ohio Valley Conference champs. But hold your horses before locking in the Racers to cover the 8.5 — they’re 3-6-1 against the spread in their last 10 while the Peacocks are 9-1. Saint Peter’s is also 4-0 ATS this season in neutral site games and of course won outright as 18-point dogs in the Round of 64.
Both mid-majors had their Round of 64 games go over the total by nearly double digits, even before the overtime periods. The over has hit in both of the Racers’ neutral site games this year and is 2-2 in Saint Peter’s.
Saint Peter’s Peacocks (15)
In David vs. Goliath fashion, Saint Peter’s went toe-to-toe with one of the most prestigious college basketball programs and are now a win away from being next weekend’s Cinderella story. If you read Saint Peter’s Round of 64 preview, you remember All-MAAC guard Daryl Banks III being a name that needed to set up in order to shock the nation, and he just did that. Banks III scored a team-high 27 points and knocked down five threes against Kentucky.
No other starter registered double-digit points for the Peacocks as instead junior guard Doug Edert played the unsung hero role, scoring 20 off the bench on just seven shots. Edert added four rebounds and two assists in the win and should see similar playing time Saturday.
Murray St. Racers (7)
The Racers got the job done by committee Thursday, with five players scoring in double digits but KJ Williams leading the team with 18 along with seven rebounds. Guard Telvin Brown added 17 and made three treys while also registering eight rebounds and two steals.
The Racers lost guard Carter Collins two minutes in due to an ankle injury, and it’s unsure whether he’ll play Saturday. Guard Justice Hill was battling through injury too but played a game-high 45 minutes. Hill ended with 15 points, nine assists, and five rebounds. Senior Jordan Skipper-Brown recorded a double-double off the bench with 12 points and 10 boards.
