Prairie View A&M was an ugly 2-11 in non-conference play but played all but one of those games on the road. They lost at Power 5 schools Baylor by 11 and Georgia Tech by 11.

He was named first-team All-NEC and led the conference and is among the best in the nation at 46.9 percent shooting from deep. That’s what the Knights do well overall, ranking No. 5 nationally in hitting 40.4 percent from behind the arc.

Both Blackston (15.2 ppg, 7.0 rpg) and Devonte Patterson (13.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg) were named first-team All-SWAC.
