The Timberwolves return home after tallying a 127-122 win in Cleveland on Monday, but have tallied consecutive wins just once during a middling 4-4 run. The Warriors open a four-game road trip in Minnesota after dropping a 107-101 decision to Dallas on Sunday that dumps them to 2-5 in their past seven overall contests.

Buoyed by the support of 88% of sports bettors, the Warriors have vaulted to 1-point favourites since opening as 1-point underdogs. The Timberwolves have dipped to -102 moneyline underdogs, while the total has made slight gains, climbing from 231.5 to 232.0.

Warriors vs. Timberwolves NBA Betting Odds

Tuesday night’s matchup at Target Center marks the fourth and final regular season meeting between these Western Conference rivals. Home teams have held a clear edge when these teams meet, claiming victory in each of their past nine clashes, capped by GSW’s 124-115 win on January 27. In addition, recent dates between these teams have been far from close, with each of their past eight matchups getting decided by an average margin of 14 points. With at least one of these teams scoring 123 or more points in five of their past six dates, the OVER now enjoys a steady 6-0-0 run in totals betting. And considering the recent form of both these squads, another high-scoring contest could be in store on Tuesday night.

Currently the third highest scoring team in the Western Conference, the Timberwolves have scored 119 or more points in six of eight outings, while allowing an average of 122.3 points per game over that stretch. The Warriors have struggled to earn wins of late despite racking up 114 points per game over their past six, and topped 130 points for the second time this season in their most recent road contest, a 132-95 win in Portland this past weekend.

Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry continued to carry the Warriors attack in a losing cause versus the Mavericks, recording his 10th double-double and second in as many games with 27 points and 10 assists, and has averaged 27 points per game in two appearances versus the T-Wolves this season. However, injuries remain a concern for the Dubs, who will once again be without Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala in Tuesday’s contest. The Warriors also need more production from Andrew Wiggins, who has averaged just 12 points per game over his past three road appearances.

Minnesota Timberwolves

D’Angelo Russell closed out an impressive month of February with a 25-point performance in Monday’s win in Cleveland, and has averaged 27.3 points per game over his past three outings. Slow starts remain a concern for the T-Wolves, who have averaged just 23.8 first-quarter points over their past four outings. Minnesota has also struggled in the back half in games played on consecutive nights, losing outright and against the spread in five straight, with each of those defeats coming by double-digit margins.
