The last game between the two best teams in the NBA takes place on Monday night in Houston with a spot in the NBA Finals at stake. The Golden State Warriors are road favourites but the Rockets proved in the first half of Game 6 they can hang with the defending champions without the help of injured star point guard Chris Paul. The winner of this series will be taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James scored 35 points as the Cavs beat the Celtics 87-79 to clinch the Eastern Conference finals series 4-3.

NBA Playoffs Point Spread and Betting Analysis

Home teams are 104-26 straight up in Game 7s in the history of the NBA playoffs. This is only the second time since 2005 the road team is the favourite in a Game 7. The Los Angeles Clippers were 2-point road chalk in the 2015 playoffs in Game 7 at Houston. The Rockets went on to win the contest outright 113-100.

There have been 42 Game 7s played since 2005 and the home team is 25-17 against the spread in those situations.

The Warriors improved to 11-5 SU and 8-8 ATS in these playoffs following Saturday night’s 29-point victory. Golden State is 3-4 ATS in its seven road playoff games and 21-27 away from Oracle Arena on the campaign.

The under is 5-1 in the series and 6-1 in the last seven meetings between Houston and Golden State. About 57 percent of Sports Interaction customers are expecting the Over to cash on the 209.5-point total while 56 percent like the Warriors to cover as 6-point favourites.

Golden State Warriors

Golden State would love to get super glue guy Andre Iguodala back for Game 7. The 2015 Finals MVP has missed the last three games with a banged up knee. The Warriors are 8-12 ATS without Iguodala in the lineup this season. The Warriors beat the Rockets 115-86 on Saturday to level the series.

Klay Thompson was the Game 6 hero. The All-Star shooting guard knocked down nine of his 14 attempts from downtown and finished with a game-high 35 points. Kevin Durant, meanwhile, is shooting just 36.5 percent from the field over the last three games.

Houston Rockets

Everyone is asking the same question in Houston: Will Chris Paul play in Game 7 just four days after straining his hamstring. Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni told reporters on Sunday it would be a game-time decision. Houston is 9-15 ATS with CP3 available this season and 2-10 in its last 12 games without him.
